00:00Now, let's take a look at the MVP markets here for Super Bowl Sunday.
00:04No question, Joe, the quarterback position is always going to be looked at first.
00:08Sam Darnold is trading at a 45% chance.
00:10Drake May at a 27% chance.
00:13If I gave you those two options at quarterback, and again,
00:16they're based off of the point spreads that we're looking at for this game,
00:19which quarterback do you believe, Joe, has the value, Darnold or May?
00:22Well, it's funny.
00:23Look at it, right?
00:24Darnold, 45, May, 27.
00:26That's 72 cents, right?
00:28But if you also look at the market where the MVP is a quarterback,
00:33that's trading at 71 cents.
00:36So this is a very efficient market because we know we can invest in both quarterbacks to hedge, right?
00:43But the quarterback position, I think, Donnie, just either of these guys to win is the better way to go.
00:50Just give me the quarterback to be the MVP at that price.
00:53And a fun marketplace to take a look at as well because, again,
00:56you're not getting that sort of, let's just say, sportsbook look at things.
01:00Oh, I hope Sam Darnold can hold on.
01:02What happens if Sam Darnold is 10 of 12 at the half for 135 yards and two touchdowns here?
01:09Once again, that ticket is much more valuable here than the investment you have you could possibly get out
01:13and not even worry about the second half statistics.
01:16But Joe also brought up a very good point here.
01:18You take a look at different ways to approach and invest your money.
01:21You can just take the quarterback position, as he said, trading as high as 73% chance on the Calci marketplace.
01:28Wide receiver, tight end, 22%.
01:30Running back, fullback, 12%.
01:33The key indicators here, Joe, once again, a hot start by a running back, a wide receiver, or a quarterback.
01:38You can already have your investment going in the right direction.
01:41I agree.
01:42Donnie, that's the way to do it.
01:44It's a hedge for, you know, not a whole lot.
01:46That's a very efficient market.
01:48So being able to win if both either guy goes, that to me, given the price difference, is the way to go.
01:56And listen, if you want to take a long shot, if you believe that the Patriots are going to win by grinding out the clock,
02:03and let's say Ramondre Stevenson is the guy that you think is going to rack it up,
02:07well, you know, you can get him at Polly Market for one cent right now.
02:11So a $100 investment on Polly Market would pay $10,000 if he wins.
02:17But on Calci, he's listed as a three-cent contract, Donnie.
02:21Never pay three cents for a contract when you can get one cent for the exact same asset.
02:27And it does make sense.
02:28Like the quarterback marketplace, you figure they're the favorites because they get most of it,
02:32and if they're throwing touchdown passes, they'll get that.
02:33The interesting part is that wide receiver tight end, which is coming in second at 22%.
02:37It just feels like, to me, I'd rather bet Jackson Smith than Jigler because what other wide receiver tight end is going to blow you away in this game?
02:44With you looking at some of the numbers, like 93.5 as those receiving yards for the wide receiver tight end, that's the guy.
02:50But the running back fullback, that's a couple different guys that can fit into that mix on both sides
02:54and only trading right now at a 12% chance.
02:57Those are the opportunities that I like to take a look at.
02:59And, Joe, how about this?
03:00Defense never wins it, right?
03:02Defense and special teams trading at 8%.
03:04And he looks for you on defense here, Joe.
03:07Yeah, it could be.
03:09You know, we've seen it in years past.
03:11Again, I wouldn't go broke with it.
03:14But, yeah, it might be worth a sprinkle here or there on that one.
