00:00Growing up, I didn't care about this system.
00:02I didn't see politics do nothing for me, you know what I'm saying?
00:05For nobody, really.
00:06My experience was like, yeah, you gotta do what you gotta do to, like, live your life.
00:10Them people are not about to hold your hand, you know what I'm saying?
00:14But more recently, I have friends in politics.
00:18I know their intentions and I know their heart.
00:23I grew up in, like, an African-centered home in West Philadelphia, which was unique.
00:27I've been a teacher or an educator for over, like, 15 years.
00:33When school was open, it was just, like, home, it's like, I'm the non-judgmental teacher.
00:38I also hold you accountable.
00:40So it's gonna be that same thing, but just online.
00:42I was, like, self-centered, you know what I mean, before I became an educator.
00:47And it just took that, it took me out of the lens.
00:50Kindergarten through 12th grade, I hadn't seen kids born, I hadn't seen kids die.
00:54Knowing that the things that I did or do had some kind of influence with these children.
01:00I want my students to be free.
01:04I want them to learn to think critically, ask them questions.
01:08You don't have to be super political, but you need to have your own politics.
01:12I will vote because you live in a political world, and you'll get caught up in somebody
01:20else's politics if you don't have your own.
01:23I want my students to be free.
01:25Everyone is here.
01:26I'm telling you würde that haven't Canadianbeam.
01:26I want the**
01:39You don't have to be a man, but I will lose him if you don't have a man.
01:44I want to take care of these children and strengthen them in their life.
01:47Basically, if you're selling managements, you're going to take care of these kids.
