00:08Big hair don't care.
00:09Design Essentials partnered with us to give us products we need to make our hair super
00:13voluminous and extra cute.
00:22I have 4C hair, which means that it shrinks a lot.
00:26So in order to get a very voluminous look, I have to blow it out to elongate the curl.
00:31Then I'll put my curls in a two-strand twist, and to add definition to my ends, I use perm
00:36rods.
00:37So on clean, damp hair, I use the Design Essentials Natural Almond and Avocado Detangling Leave-In
00:44Conditioner.
00:52And to set my two-strand twist, I use Honey Curl Forming Custard.
01:10So I have wavy hair, and if I don't scrunch, it falls really flat.
01:16So I typically use gels or mousses or something that's a little light, can't do butters like
01:21my coily sisters.
01:22So I just scrunch, flip my hair upside down, scrunch, scrunch, and then scrunch some more.
01:28So with the Almond and Avocado Detangling Leave-In Conditioner, I put about a quarter of amount,
01:33and I kind of work my way up.
01:35And with the Curl Enhancing Mousse with Olive Oil and Vitamin B Complex, I put about a quarter
01:41of amount, and I start scrunching immediately.
01:44And I just scrunch and scrunch and scrunch until my hands are sore.

02:00You're scrolling through Instagram looking at all these voluminous curls, and you're wondering
02:03how can you get your hair to look like that.
02:05I have short curly hair, so my go-to method is the coil method.
02:10Super easy and quick to do.
02:11So to add a little extra volume, I use my pick to fluff it out.
02:15Usually after washing my hair, I use a detangler and a leave-in so I don't have to use too much
02:19product on my hair.
02:20Today, I'll be using Design Essentials Almond and Avocado Detang Leave-In Conditioner.
02:26I'll then grab the Almond and Avocado Curling Cream so I can have my amazing defined curls
02:33by doing my finger curl method.
02:36Usually when I use the finger curl method, I like to use a cream that is a little heavier
02:39so that I can help define my curls.
