00:05Anti-Breakage System. And it's supposed to help your hair grow by not causing it to break. I tried
00:12the product because I really want longer hair. Full disclosure though, full disclosure, I work
00:18for NaturallyCurly.com and I had the opportunity to work on the project with Sasha and Carson,
00:23Dark and Lovely for the Grow Out Diaries. So I've been around the product for over six months. I'll
00:29tell you how I really feel about the product and you can come up with your own opinion of it. Okay.
00:34The first product I'm going to review and the Dark and Lovely All-Naturale Anti-Breakage,
00:39it is that long, line is the Tension Release Hair Wash. These products are all under $10. You
00:48shouldn't spend all of your pennies. You shouldn't spend all of your money on hair care. It smells
00:55citrusy, which is nice. It also has pretty good ingredients. It has the guarana root and honey.
01:00I usually use the LOC method, which is like leave-in oil and cream. And so I end up using
01:05like four, three or four products on my hair every time I do a wash and go. And so, and I wear my
01:10wash and goes for like four to 10 days, depending. My hair gets really dry, but it gets a lot of
01:17product buildup. This shampoo was amazing. You don't even need a lot. It ladders really well
01:25and that buildup is gone. So the second product in their four product line is the Strength Restoring
01:34Conditioner. And this conditioner can be used as a daily conditioner and it can also be used
01:40as a deep conditioner. It's thick, but not too thick. I think it has the same citrusy smell. So
01:46the shampoo and the conditioner have the same scent. Your hair won't be like, oh girl, what did you put
01:51in your hair? It smells terrible. Again, the ingredients are good. No silicones, no mineral oil,
01:57no parabens, no petroleum. And there's some brands out there. Ladies, you know who they are. They're using
02:04all the silicones and the mineral oil in the world. And darn in love, we ain't doing that. And
02:09they're doing it for under $10. I wash my hair in sections and this is really good to help me
02:13get through my hair. Like it, I don't, I wouldn't say it had a lot of slip, but it helped me detangle
02:18it. So that's good. So that's the conditioner. All right, y'all, full honesty. I mean, sometimes you
02:26get a product line and you're like, oh my God, I really love these two products. If there was one
02:30product in this line that I was like, oh no, this would be it. You know what it smells like? It smells
02:37like lot of body. If you, you remember as a kid, your mom used to set your hair with them rollers
02:41and she put all that lot of body in your hair. This is exactly what it smells. It smells like
02:45lot of body. I wish I would have kept the same citrusy scent, but they didn't do that. And it
02:49is the root to tip mender. It is a leave-in conditioner. What I really like in leave-in conditioners is
02:56that they're light and that they have a lot of slip. I also like when you can just squeeze it out of the
03:01bottle and you don't have to like pump it. This has a pump action. Pump action. It's kind of thick.
03:07Like look, it's not even, you know what I mean? Like it's not sliding down. This kind of thing will
03:11just make it heavy. And if I'm layering products, then I don't want all of that stuff weighing down
03:17my curls. So for me, this was a bit heavy for a leave-in. I can't really say that I saw a reduction
03:25in split ends. But then again, I wasn't really looking. So sorry guys. Sorry. As far as the
03:32leave-in conditioner, I'm not really sure that this was right for me. So the last product in the
03:38dark and lovely all natural anti-breakage system is the super softening hair butter. It kind of like
03:45has the like juiciness of like coconut oil. You know how like shiny and like that, like I don't want to
03:54call it greasy. It kind of has that sort of feel to it. And though it looks like a really thick
04:00butter, it's really, it's kind of light. And you can see I kind of like took a handful of it. I
04:05probably used too much. It doesn't really weigh your hair down like that. If you use a little bit,
04:09word of caution, you need to use a little bit. Like a little bit goes a long way. Don't be like me
04:16and stick your whole hand in there and just like slather it on your head because that's a really
04:21stupid, stupid thing to do. It doesn't have mineral oil and it has the same scent as the other two
04:29products in the line, which is good. As far as super softening, that is the truth. Like I put this
04:34in my hair and I was just like, yes, yes. It's just like really, really soft when you like rub it
04:43through your hair and you do like a, you know, braid out or twist out, girl, you're going to be looking
04:49good. And it definitely doesn't leave your hair feeling dry, which is good. Again, like the
04:54anti-breakage is for hair that's super moisturized. Um, so that your hair doesn't break and this
05:00lives up to that. That is my review of the dark and lovely all natural anti-breakage
05:06line. If you're going to buy two products from this line, I say you really have to get
05:13one, the shampoo because there's no buildup that can withstand the power of the shampoo
05:18and the conditioner because one, you can use it as a daily conditioner and two, you get
05:24like double bang for your buck. You can use it as a deep conditioner. Overall, I do like the
05:28line. I'd say I'd give it, I don't know. How do you guys rate this stuff? Maybe three thumbs up?
