00:29sleigh moments of 2023 we're gonna go through the best red carpet looks best street style
00:35talk a little bit about the tunnel walk looks and dive into some trends we saw this year
00:42um let's start off with best red carpet looks robin i know you have a lot to say about this
00:49who had some of the like iconic red carpet looks this year i think this year i definitely want to
00:56make sure taraji c penton gets her flowers she really killed every red carpet she touched
01:02this year i loved especially some of the things that she wore in london she wore this fire la
01:07pointe dress that was bright pink i also was really captivated by what she wore to the world
01:13premiere which was styled by wayman and micah i think she just really has this air of confidence
01:19that really stood out for her entire press run for the color purple this year who else do you think
01:25you know made an impact on the red carpet this year i definitely think that jody turner smith also
01:31really did an excellent job whatever carpet she showed up for um the academy gala that was
01:37actually like a week or so ago she had this incredible christopher john rogers dress on that
01:42had this huge oversized skirt and this bustier moment i think that that's just it kind of evokes
01:49old hollywood glamour a bit but i think that she's just great um her skin is always glowing too so i
01:55think that also helped but definitely i want to like add to the women um fantasia also did a great
02:04job i don't know if you have a favorite look from any of her um red carpet premieres yeah no i would
02:12go back to the world premiere of the color purple she had this incredible sergio hudson outfit on i'm
02:18like trying to figure out if it was like a dress or if it was like a top and skirt situation but i think
02:24it was a top and skirt situation it was giving 20s hollywood glam so we talked about the women let's
02:30talk about the men our lovely lovely men um peacocking is real um and there's two men in my opinion that
02:37really came out strong this year on the red carpet one's yaya and then the other is coleman domingo
02:44um yaya abdul mateen the second he has an incredible stylist um jan michael kwami she like
02:54really made him stand out everywhere he went this year from you know the tony awards wearing ferragamo
03:04by like maximilian davis or becoming a part of like that tom brown family um and like you know
03:11rocking tom brown even at the met last year i think that just shows how iconic he is in like the fashion
03:21like style world for like black men that are actors going to these events along with coleman domingo who
03:30has had a great you know um time in his career this year he's he brings a lot of grace to the red
03:39carpet karen who was your favorite street style look for men's i would say lewis hamilton i think he
03:47is so cool i feel like black men especially don't get the space to be as creative sometimes with the
03:53things that they wear um and especially him being like in such like a masculine you know sport f1 um
04:00and that kind of taking off and having its own fashion moment like asap rocky's and um in that f1
04:06sphere now to do that with puma you mentioned you mentioned asap rocky i'm wondering if your
04:12best street style look is asap rocky's woman our woman the queen of street style exactly she really
04:22is she is my eternal it girl um rihanna obviously like the woman has redefined pregnancy fashion like
04:31everyone is wearing their belly out everybody and it's okay like it's it's never been a problem and
04:36it's not like she invented having your belly out but she's made it to where being sexy and pregnant is
04:42cool i think another i think like transitioning to women um in the tunnel walk category i think diamond
04:49de shield who plays for the dallas wings i believe i think her style is insane i love that she's like
04:56just really swaggy with it like the cargo pants with the sneakers but she also has some like feminine
05:03elements like her tops tend to be tighter or if she's wearing a baggy top she's wearing a tighter
05:07bottom and then the jewelry she's wearing is just cohesive like i love her personal style because
05:13she knows herself like i can tell she styles herself all right so that wraps fashion for 2023 we can't
05:21wait to see what the celebrities do for red carpet street style tunnel walks in 2024
