00:00in college so when do you find time for yourself? I believe that I've mastered the art of the mental
00:06vacation. Sometimes we get caught up in Instagram aesthetic, we get caught up on being fluid out,
00:12we get caught up on just being you know somewhere that looks like zen or serenity when really we
00:17have that within ourselves. As busy women and people that want to be successful we don't always
00:22have the time for real to just go where we want to go or do what we feel is relaxing. So I just
00:28find happy and peaceful moments in small things whether I'm getting my nails done, whether I call
00:33my grandmother, whether I'm just turning everything off and looking out the window, whether I'm walking
00:38down the street. I just take my time and just know that whatever I'm doing I'm doing that for me
00:43and I hold on to it and all of those things I just mentioned were free other than getting your nails
00:48done but still you know just really take time to pull into yourself, talk to yourself, love yourself,
00:54read whatever it is. Just do it and I read a book not too long ago called Agent You by Nicole Lynn and
01:02she mentioned, I thought it was so funny, she mentioned that she tried to unwind by going to
01:07the spa. She went and got a massage and the whole time she was thinking about her busy day and that
01:12wasn't what relaxation looked like for her. So I want to challenge everyone to rethink what relaxation
01:18is and really put it to work. If it's listening to trap music in your car for five minutes before
01:24you go into work or if it's waking up and listening to gospel music, if it's just laying in bed
01:29and saying your ABCs or singing a song in your mind, that's your thing. So take the time out to really do
01:36your own self-check, figure out what makes you feel more like you or what can bring you back to who you
01:42are and then subscribe to that and then build on that. And then your bank account will reflect
01:46whatever it needs to so you can fly yourself out and do whatever you want to do. And I know I've
01:51learned over the years to set boundaries. Sometimes it can be hard to say no but it's necessary to say
01:56no so that you do have time for yourself. So figure out what your schedule is like this is my school
02:01work schedule, these are the hours I work on my business and that could also include sacrifice like
02:07maybe I can't go to this outing or this party so I can get some rest and then you just you know
02:13learn to say no as well when you're so you don't overextend yourself. Yeah. Okay. Okay. So I think we
02:21have just a couple minutes left. Do you want to do one more question or do we have time? So we're going to
02:26actually take a
02:27do you want to ask yourself like
02:29and then I have always go to that and then I will be going to look at it. So you don't overextend yourself.
02:35It's not quite a long time. It's fine. And I have been going to do it.
02:36We've got a phase of the three things that you want to do. And then my life is going to be
02:39so you're going to go to your own goal now. So you can see that your part is probably one of the
02:40reasons. So you should see you. It's gonna be a step one and two if you want to share that.
02:44So I think it's going to happen every step. It's going to be a step one and two if you're going to
02:47say it's going to happen. It's going to be something that you're doing. Yeah. You're going to do I want to be doing you there.
02:49You're going to be something because you're going to be a little bit closer.
