01:25line of products thank you folks always um you know focus on self-care and wellness led me to
01:32you know discovering that i wanted to create a pharmacy of my own so what better way to start
01:37than with my own product line so um we have four products um and right now well i guess can we
01:44highlight all four let's go let's go um so what's the first product you want to highlight for us so i'll
01:51introduce first our hand and body wash so it's a castillo based soap uh so it's made of saponified
01:57oils and um the saponified or saponified oils are olive oil and jojoba oil and then it's also infused with
02:05the lavender essential oil so you can pretty much use this all over your body except your face um so
02:12a little bit goes a long way so when you think of a castillo based soap most people think of dr brown
02:18us but we want you to think of the wellness apothecary instead yes and it's oh it smells so
02:24fresh thank you so it's great to use you can put it in your kitchen to wash your hands in your
02:30bathrooms in the shower be careful in the shower all of our products are made of recyclable material
02:35so it is in a glass bottle and you can read it i really appreciate the love and care you guys put
02:42into the actual packaging thank you it's very sleek and it looks really nice um in your bathroom so and
02:49it's glass y'all yes so you can reuse it again and refill it um and then next i want to highlight
02:55our cocoa in shade body butter so hopefully you can see that and so i want you to start thinking of
03:02the wellness apothecary instead of palmers when you think of cocoa butter here's what blue can i just
03:09i just need to geek out on this product real quick this is what blew me away y'all about this body butter
03:14there's a lot of body butters out there and you put it on and it feels so waxy or sticky i put this
03:21on my hair live demonstration it it feels like whipped cream it is so so light but look what
03:29happens when you rub your hands together oh no look at this rubbing my hands together and it's like baby
03:36oil almost i don't know what i mean you're a doctor so you have all of this knowledge but i don't know
03:43what it is and how you guys got this and then it goes on your skin so smooth you y'all know i go for
03:49the elbows first right that's that where the ash accumulates so it's meant to to hydrate and moisturize
03:56the skin without being too greasy so it will it will definitely um hydrate and just just melt into
04:01the skin nicely so um you don't have to worry about it being too greasy because i know that's another
04:06concern of people when they use it good and with um cocoa but this cocoa and shea butter it's a favorite
04:12among new moms so new moms love it you know as we age your skin changes as you gain weight lose
04:19weight your skin changes get pregnant your skin changes um so it really helps with that elasticity
04:25and the key ingredients in there that really um pulls that elasticity and moisture together are the
04:30vitamin e um the almond oil and the cocoa butter um together so i wanted to make sure i highlight those
04:35ingredients that makes it so luxurious oh my gosh like this i am just obsessed so you guys
04:42there are a couple of i'm flying up the products here there's a smaller um yes smaller size and a
04:48larger size we have the smaller size here but you can get the larger size as well i have i have one to
04:53show you to show you so the the little size so when you're traveling to essence festival come on this
05:00make sure you get your your travel sizes so we have the the body wash and we have the cocoa and shea
05:06butter and a travel size so the cocoa and shea butter also comes in a one ounce and then we also have the
05:13hand and body wash and a two ounce so you can pack that right in your bag oh that's so good
05:19so so good um you have other you have some more products and so i have um another product i want
05:25to highlight is our calming bath salt um so this is perfect for valentine's day so if you're looking
05:31for a nice gift for the valentine so this is great um it has a beautiful um smell it has a lame smell so
05:40it's kind of a citrusy smell it's uh made of dead sea and himalayan salt and it also is infused with
05:46calendula so it has anti-inflammatory properties so if you have eczema or you have irritated skin
05:53also so like when you're gardening when it comes to the springtime it's also good to relax in the
05:57in the bath after being out in the garden um it also is infused with colloidal oatmeal so it does
06:04it does everything you need to calm and relax at the same time this is a doctor taking care of us
06:10okay she knows um okay sunshine sunshine lady wants to know i guess this is about the um body butter is it
06:20gonna melt in the suitcase is there a certain temperature that you need the little ones
06:24should do fine but any any temperature at 80 degrees it will melt because it is a natural
06:30product so if you're if you're flying on the way flying there depending where you're flying from you
06:37should be fine um okay but we plan to be at essence that's our goal to be at so you can always see foxy
06:43lady bev it's like y'all gonna be at essence that's what needs to be on the booth um so good and you
06:48have one last product yes i saw you light our candle so we call it the healer this is so good y'all
06:57it's made with a coconut soy wax and it has a wooden wick you see i've been using mine too
07:04so it has that little crackle and um whenever you um light the candle you have to make sure you trim
07:11your wick so a lot of people when they when they light the wooden wicks they may not trim them so
07:17you just need to light it trim it and then light it again that way you can make sure that it burns
07:22evenly throughout oh it's so good and can you talk a little bit about the um benefit to having a wooden
07:28wick as opposed to like the regular threaded wax so it's a natural it's still a natural wick um some people
07:37use um the the wicks made of cotton but we just like that that extra you know onto it where you
07:43can feel like you have a little fireplace right next to you or just to be able to hear that crackle is
07:47really really nice so and then all of the wood the wooden wicks um is a donation to um the the company
07:55that we work with they make a donation to trees uh when we use these so whenever you're buying a candle
08:01you're also giving back um to that as well wow always always so so thoughtful this is so great and
08:08once again the design y'all of it like just how sleek that looks on your nightstand i have to give a
08:16shout out to my new voices family because they have been so great with helping me um to find a person
08:22to help me with that sleek design so i could not have done that without their support um so this is so
08:28good can you talk about that i ask every show y'all know i'm going to ask that's our partners
08:33that's how we get connected with these incredible businesses but you just said something so so great
08:39it is the connection and um the resources that you have being a part of new voices can you talk us
08:46talk to us a little bit about how that came about you needed a designer and yes so i will say i
08:51did participate in their pace boot camp back in the spring of 2021 so i got to connect with
08:58so many amazing other other black owned brands um i have a nice community of black women-owned brands
09:05that i get to meet with all the time we get to talk and you know bounce ideas off each other but also
09:10with new voices you're able to reach out to them for the support um when you need it so that slack
09:15channel that we have is awesome where we can talk to one another and ask for resources or you know just
09:21reaching out to the new voices family directly also um has been amazing for me to be able to
09:25really help build my foundation because the most important thing when you're starting a business
09:31is to have a very strong foundation if your foundation isn't strong it makes the process a
09:36little more difficult so um that that was very integral for me so um having a brand strategy is very
09:43important um so i'm glad that i was able to to get that that help and support this is so good and i see
09:50people um asking in the comments if they could be highlighted make sure that you guys join the new
