00:00Meanwhile, new data from the Department of Homeland Security shows that more than 180 of
00:04its vehicles have been attacked since President Trump took office last year and launched his
00:09immigration crackdown. That's more than a 3,000% increase from 2024. The data includes things like
00:16tire slashing, ramming of the vehicles, and attempts to run over agents. And as for some of
00:21those agitators who may be taking part in these attacks, a conservative research firm believes
00:27some of this chaos has been financed by China. While the protests appear in many ways to be
00:32grassroots gatherings organized on message boards and encrypted texting apps, a firm called Capital
00:38Research says some of the protests are backed by a fund created by left-leaning billionaires and,
00:43yes, China. This comes from Scott Walter, the president of Capital Research. He's an expert
00:48on dark money. He says that the network that seems most active in Minnesota is backed by American
00:53businessman Neville Singham, who's based in Shanghai. Now, Congress, specifically the House
00:59Oversight Committee, is digging into Singham and whether his financial support of left-wing causes
01:04constitutes foreign influence, given possible ties between his network and the Chinese Communist
01:09Party's propaganda efforts.
