00:00I had to optimize my day. I knew that I was going to school between these hours, and then I had to work between these hours.
00:07So I looked at the times where I needed to sleep and eat and do other things, but then I'm like, okay, what can I do to make the best use of my time for other things?
00:17And that's when I knew, okay, I can take on throwing parties. I can take on promotional accounts. I can take on learning PR under you and event planning.
00:26So I just looked at my day. I kept it real with myself, and I filled it with things that were pouring into me and that helped me lay the foundation for what my business grew into.
00:34And I would say as a college student, since that's who many of you are in the room, even if you have a solid business plan, don't be afraid to present it to your parents or other family members and friends that may have some income and willing to invest.
00:49And those people that are closest to you will be more passionate about seeing you succeed.
