00:00Gia Peppers here all night long at the Met Gala.
00:03What are you most excited about tonight?
00:05I'm excited to see all the looks.
00:07I mean, I know that's so redundant, but I mean, truly, I am.
00:09Especially, you know, people are going to be pulling out all the stops.
00:11The cool thing about, you know, fashion and black culture is that it continually keeps coming around.
00:17It's just that great.
00:18Tell us the design inspiration behind tonight's look.
00:21I am wearing Christian Cowan, and I have two flags draped delicately on my body.
00:25One of them is the Black American Heritage flag, and one of them is a Filipino flag,
00:29because I'm a black Latino girl and also a Mexican American.
00:32So tell me, Jeremy tonight dressed you.
00:34Why did we have to go with Jeremy?
00:36Because Jeremy invited me on a date, and I'm a fan of Moschino, and I said, why not?
00:43And are showing up and showing out tonight on the carpet.
00:48We'll be back with more on Essence, so stay tuned,
00:50because you know Essence is always going to give us something to talk about, all right?
00:54So we'll be back with more next time.
00:56I've been Gia Peppers.
00:57See you soon.
