00:09I want to ask you, where were you when you got the call
00:14and what was your initial thought about being offered the opportunity?
00:17Where was I?
00:18I think I had finally gotten home and I was holding my daughter
00:23and I got a call from my manager and he says,
00:25hey, so Urban Honors is coming back around
00:28and TV1 is curious as to whether or not you would be interested in hosting.
00:33And my initial response was, are they sure that they want me?
00:38Because I've never hosted anything ever.
00:41Are they sure they want, you sure they said Neo?
00:44They did say me.
00:46Yeah, all right, well, yeah, let's give it a go.
00:48So I took it upon myself to start, you know,
00:51researching different hosts that I appreciate.
00:54Like Kevin Hart is always good at hosting stuff.
00:56Jamie Foxx is really good at hosting things.
00:58It always feels organic and real.
01:00So did my little research, you know what I'm saying?
01:03Got my little spiel together, my little jokes and whatnot.
01:05Then they tell me that it ain't going to be no damn audience in the thing.
01:10So it just didn't make no point to really try to make no jokes
01:14because it wasn't nobody to laugh at them.
01:16So we did what we had to do.
01:19We got it done.
01:20And mind you, the show is amazing.
01:22But I still have some hosting jokes that I would like to tell.
01:26So I'm going to have to host something else at some point real soon
01:29so I can get these off the road.
