00:00In HRDF, how will you step out corruption?
00:04Certain steps have been taken currently in HRDF.
00:08For example, there's a restructuring which is going on.
00:11I think it's common knowledge or public knowledge that the CEO,
00:16we have changed the CEO, we have brought in a new CEO.
00:20Most people do not know the CEO that we have brought in
00:23because I think he's before this been in Amanah Ikhtiah.
00:28He's been there for eight years, long before I was in Kuskok
00:32previously as the Deputy Minister over there.
00:34So if you look at his achievements while he's been there in Amanah Ikhtiah,
00:39Dato' Syameh has brought Amanah Ikhtiah from whatever it was prior to 2018.
00:45As of from 2019 to 2024, the non-repayment rate for Amanah Ikhtiah was 99.98%.
00:55So you only have a 0.02% NPL.
00:59And last year, 100% repayment.
01:03So he's a guy who makes sure things are delivered, everything is run proper.
01:09I mean, you can imagine you're dealing with hundreds of thousands of borrowers
01:14and you can achieve a 100% repayment rate.
01:17This is not only the quality of him being able to show his administrative skills,
01:22but how he actually runs the sahabat, which is the members of Amanah Ikhtiah
01:28and how he creates that family values inside there.
01:31One of the main things that I think you can see in HRD Corp,
01:35of course there were a lot of issues, but slowly we are bringing it to where it's supposed to be.
01:41Under the Madani framework, governance and responsible business is very important.
01:50One of the other things that we have done also, into the board, we will be including,
01:55we haven't made the announcement yet, but it will happen very soon.
01:59We are putting in people who are very strict in making sure all the guidelines are followed.
02:04For example, this is not just on HRD Corp, it's on an overall thing HRD Corp.
02:09Perkeso, wherever it may be, we are putting in, for example, I will give you former Deputy Secretary General of the Treasury,
02:17Dato' Abdul Rahman Othman is one of the people that we will be putting in.
02:21Former CEO of SKM, Dato' Haji Rosli.
02:24So these are the kind of personalities that we are putting in so there is good governance
02:28and to make sure that his excellency, Dato' Sri Anwar Ibrahim's vision of the Madani government really is moving in that direction.
02:38Also, one of the things I can briefly let you know about is that currently we have about 7,000 training providers,
02:50registered certified training providers.
02:53We are going to make sure we do another check to make sure that these 7,000 do a reapplication again.
03:02Of course, I will leave this to the CEO of HRD Corp on how he wants to do it,
03:06but this is one of the things that was briefed to me.
03:09The 7,000 will be recertified.
03:11So those who are not properly certified, for example, we don't know what company they belong to.
03:18We don't have a trainer which is registered and certified.
03:22All of these gaps will make sure are plugged.
03:26So these are the small-small steps that we are taking to make sure there is good governance.
03:36That means you can't do everything, you can't do everything.
03:38That means the process means the seat is not good to be able to get better.
03:41This is the last two of us, it is a third one of the things that we need to go in.
03:45So this is the first place that we need, so you can see here,
03:51and you can see that there are some of the things that we need.
