00:00Hey Girls United, Nandi here, assistant editor, and we have a special guest joining us, Ms. Cash
00:13Doll. She's a rapper, entertainer, actress, and she's worked with all of our favorite artists.
00:19Today she's joining me and she's going to give us a few tips on how not to give a F and block
00:24out the haters. It's 2020 and a lot's going on, but I feel like some advice from Cash can
00:30really get us going and finish out the year strong. Please help me welcome Ms. Cash Doll.
00:36Hey.
00:38Hey Girl, how are you?
00:41I'm good, how are you?
00:42I'm doing well.
00:44Yeah, girl, this pandemic.
00:47Crazy.
00:49I keep having to go to the car and go get my mask, I left it.
00:52I always forget.
00:54Yeah, like they'd be like, do you have your mask? I'm going to go back to the car.
01:01We've been in quarantine for, I don't know, the last like six months. I've lost count at
01:06this point, so I don't even know where we're at, but how has your quarantine been? Have
01:11you, how have you been like staying busy and trying to stay active these days?
01:15You know what? During quarantine, I got to know myself again and I really appreciate that.
01:20You know, it was like a forced vacation kind of like, you know, like where you could sit
01:24down and take a break. You know, it was really good. I was just working out and, you know,
01:30eating right and connecting with my family and things like that. So it wasn't so bad, but
01:36it did get boring because it's like I miss my fans. I miss the traveling. I miss seeing things.
01:42I miss, you know, just on the go and like building my career. But other than that, it's like, you know,
01:49it wasn't all bad.
01:51Definitely. Yeah. No, that's the same with me. Like, I'm just trying to enjoy what we have now,
01:55but I do have my boring moments. But we have things like this, the Girls United Summit to kind of,
02:01you know, make things better, which is why we're here today to chat about you and get some tips on,
02:07like, how to just block out the haters right now. Like, it's a lot going on and everybody is trying
02:13to stay focused. So I wanted to know some tips that you have that you could give people watching
02:20about how you block out the haters. See, first thing first, like, you have to just know. You
02:29have to just genuinely know your worth. You know what I'm saying? You just have to genuinely just
02:33know that you are it. That's first thing first. Secondly, sometimes like... Wait, wait. I have to
02:39go back to that. I have to ask you a question. So how can we get some confidence like you? Like,
02:44what's the... Give us some cash doll tips on how we can be confident. Like, when we walk at the house,
02:51what are like some things we need to have in our bag? Like...
02:53A mirror. A mirror, okay.
02:56That's a reminder right there. You know, just whatever just makes you feel good. You know,
03:03I feel like sometimes us as women, we need to sit down and think, what is it that makes me?
03:07Right, right.
03:08What is it that makes myself... What could I do to make me happy? What makes me feel good?
03:13So you have to focus on that first to even be able to know, you know, what you...
03:18What... How could you build that confidence, right? So for me, I know that I like having my lip gloss on.
03:25I have to have some mascara on. I have to at least have my baby hair slicked down, okay?
03:33And I know, like, if I have those things, even though if I don't have them, I still know that I'm
03:37that one. But it's like certain things that I have, you know, just knowing that I talked to God this
03:41morning and I know that He's leading me, you know, just, you know, having great energy around you,
03:48just being grateful. It's just like all those things play a part in confidence. You know,
03:53people just think it just come from just thinking you all of that just by waking up and you're pretty.
03:59No, it's where you surround yourself around, you know, it's the energy that you receive and putting
04:05out and it's, you know, what you believe in and, you know, is you smelling good? Did you wash up?
04:11You know what I'm saying? Did you brush your teeth? Did you drink water? Did you drink water to wake you up?
04:16Like, those things play a part in confidence. Absolutely. You know what I'm saying? Because
04:20it helps you feel the best you and only you could do that. It's nothing I could say. I just know what
04:25works for me. I know I have to have me some eyeshadow, some eye mascara on under my eyes,
04:31maybe some mineral powder, you know, my phone, have me a cute little purse on. Okay, okay. So things like
04:40that. Okay, so the first one is confidence. That's how we call it here. So what's number two? Number two
04:47is discipline. Okay. It's discipline. You have to have discipline. You have to be able to say,
04:52you know what, I'm not going on social media. I'm eating too much. You know, I'm eating apps.
04:59You delete apps off your phone because I don't have to. Discipline, you don't have to go through that.
05:04You don't have to do apps. But see, I don't have to do that. I don't want to not go on social media
05:10because I could not look at comments. I could go in there and do what I have to do without even
05:15having to interact. You know, that's why discipline is important when it comes to that focusing and
05:21trying to block out things. You have to be disciplined. You got to say, you know what,
05:24no, I'm not going on there because I know this makes me mad. I know if they post me on this blog,
05:30if I look at them comments, they're not going to be nice. I'm not looking at it.
05:34So is there times where you haven't gone on social media at all?
05:38No. Yeah, no. Not being an artist, I would never just sit up here and act like, yeah, I have. No,
05:46I haven't. Because I never had to. I never felt like social media bothered me that much to where
05:51I had to actually just not go on there. You know, I'm disciplined. And that's what I would say when I
05:57talk about discipline. If you have to take social media off your phone, you're not disciplined enough.
06:02You should be able to discipline yourself not to go and look for anything that makes you feel some
06:06type of way. You know what I'm saying? So if you know that looking at comments and them being negative
06:10or them trying to say you don't look well or they're talking about your music or all this stuff,
06:14if you know that that don't make you feel right, why are you going to go look at it?
06:17Exactly. Exactly. You know what I'm saying? It's like I can go on social media and not look at my
06:24comments. I could post something and not look at my comments. I could not go on blogs and see what
06:28they're saying about me. I could not look at certain mentions and I don't have to. It's like, why do I
06:34want to even hear something that someone that don't even know me is saying? It makes me feel some type of
06:41way. Why would I give somebody that much power over my day? I think that's good advice, especially now
06:45because when we go on social media, people are looking at the comments. They're looking at
06:49everything. And sometimes it's just like, you can do your social media for you. Put the picture up
06:54because you wanted to put it up, not because you care what other people are saying about it or
06:59whatever. I love that. That was some gems you just dropped right there. Even like, I like to go on
07:05there because I like to see what my friends and family is doing. So I'm about to miss out on that because I
07:08can't control myself from looking at comments or, no, just discipline. Discipline is very important.
07:15So, okay. So confidence, discipline. So what's the third one? I say, right. And also like
07:22come with discipline, like no drinking, no going out and partying. Yeah. No interacting with like,
07:29you know, things that you know is toxic because we know some things is toxic, but it's entertaining.
07:35So we like to do it. Right. Right. So like those things, uh, that falls into discipline.
07:42We'll see. Okay. So right now we're in COVID. So obviously we can't go out, but the girls
07:48sometimes do want to go out and enjoy themselves. So is there times where you need to say, look,
07:53if you're focused, like, Hey, I'm not going out for this amount of time, or do you say kind of
07:58for spur of the moment? How do we kind of just, I cleanse myself. I will go on a 30 day cleanse.
08:04Right. And I will not have any sexual intercourse. I will not go out. I will not shop.
08:13Okay. That's a hard one.
08:15I will not eat. I'll eat clean and I work out. Okay. I work out and I, and I'm just make sure
08:25I give me good sleep. It's self care that whole time. I just make sure I pamper myself, face shoes,
08:31massages, you know, like wear my real hair, clip my ends and, you know, no makeup. I just really
08:38cleanse myself. You know what I'm saying? It's just really getting my mind right for a minute.
08:42Yeah, I know. Like a self care type of month though. Instead of a day, you do a month.
08:47All right. So what's number four for you?
08:59Number four will be no dextractions. Dextractions. So what does that mean? Like no sex,
09:06no toxicness, no love language, no intimacy, no dates, just no, because you got to get to you,
09:16you getting to know yourself and you cleansing yourself. You want to, in the midst of that,
09:20you don't want to bring nobody else into play. You know, you want to just really focus on yourself.
09:25That's a good one. That's a good one. Because that can mess your mind up a little bit.
09:31Yeah, it'll mess your mind up a little bit because now you worry about what he's doing,
09:34how heavy eight today, why he didn't call me, oh my God, he didn't text me back and all that.
09:38We don't need that. Okay. So now we're wrapping up. So what's your number five
09:45way to just block out the haters and focus on yourself? Eat clean. Making sure that I eat very
09:52clean and working out and drinking nothing but water. Right. Just eat clean. It makes you feel
09:58better. You know what I'm saying? You get to sleep better at night. You wake up early,
10:02you have a full day and you have energy. You know what I'm saying? You want to have the best energy,
10:07you know, but like eating clean. Yeah. That's a good way to end it. Because I feel like we can
10:12worry about all the outside, but you need to worry about what you're putting inside your body first.
10:16Inside. Yeah. Yeah. And that's part of self-care. Awesome. Well, thank you so much,
10:23Kastall, for joining Girls United in our summit and giving us the five tips on how not to give
10:29a F and block out the haters. Thank you so much. All right. Thank you so much, Kastall,
10:36for letting us know those five tips. But before you go, I must have you plug in all your socials and
10:42where to find you and let us know if you can be getting any music soon or what you're up to next.
10:49Well, my socials is Kastall and that's with a K. So K-S-H-D-O-L-L and that's on every platform.
10:56Okay. Come see me. And as far as working on music, I mean, I'm working.
11:01I'm working. I'm working. I'm working. I don't have any dates where I don't know when I'm,
11:06I'm working. Okay. I'm still listening to Stacks. So take your time. Yeah. I'm going to be okay.
11:12Okay. Stacks got a few bops on there. So I feel like it weighed me over for a little bit.
11:18Yeah, no, it did. Well, thank you so much. And I look forward to talking to you soon.
11:22Yeah. I can't wait to talk to you again. Awesome. Bye.
