00:26We were working yesterday. Yesterday was a long day. We shot the video, too, Until It's Gone,
00:31which is my latest single, New Life, and we had a lot going on. We were shooting on rooftops. It
00:37was freezing cold. We had on dresses, and we had a deep storyline as well. We had Melinda Williams
00:44and Brian White. Melinda plays my sister in. There's a very tragic occurrence there, and we took the
00:50meaning of Until It's Gone. My song is about someone not appreciating you in a relationship
00:55until you're gone, and we took it and found a deeper meaning, like really losing someone.
01:01Oh, wow. And hopefully the story will resonate to how important it is to treat people the way
01:06you know you should. Right. So we were very busy yesterday, needless to say, but this is the color
01:13I picked out. It kind of went with everything. We knew we'd be changing clothes. There were hospital
01:17scenes. It was everything. Wow. Yes. So when is this video premiering? In two weeks. Okay,
01:23in two weeks. Two weeks from today. I can't wait to see it. What are the best makeup tricks
01:27that you've picked up on shoots? You know, I'll be 31 next month, so for me, what I notice
01:34is that you don't ever want to have on too much of anything, especially if you're tired. People
01:42think if you're tired, you should add more. Right. That's when you should add a little less,
01:46and it's the little things that count. Mascara is a must. Yes. You know, you can always do mascara
01:53and a gloss. Yep. Dior. Oh, blackout? Blackout is the best. I live for blackout. Blackout is the
01:59best. I try them all. Yeah. Blackout is the one. And it's easy to wash off. Right. Because with three
02:06small kids, when I get ready to go to bed or put them to bed or do what I need to do, I need to be
02:11able to wash and go. Right. So I don't need anything trying to spend a day with me. I need to be able
02:15to wash it off and keep it moving. And keep it moving. Blackout. And you know YSL lip glosses?
02:19They have a million different colors, but yesterday, my makeup artist, Sheika, she used one that has
02:2418 karat gold. Flex? Flex in it. Oh, my gosh. And it was unbelievable on camera. But less is more. And
02:32there's a spray foundation by Dior that's very light. That's the easiest one with mascara and lip gloss
02:38and go. You're good to go. That's it. Okay. So let's talk hair. What's your favorite hair
02:42products? Your hair looks amazing, by the way. That's a hard one. I love hair. I grew up in beauty
02:47shops. Oh, did you? My unowned one. Okay. So I am big on hair products. You know what my favorite
02:55is? Because I have natural hair. Mm-hmm. I love Nairobi. Oh, you do? Oh, okay. I love Nairobi. That's a good
03:01one. And when I want to wear the curly look, I use the Nairobi foam. Oh. And when I want to wear
03:05it straight, I use a Nairobi foam. I comb it straight and mold it almost. While it's wet?
03:10And then we blow it out. Yes. Oh, wow. And then we blow it out. It's more manageable that
03:13way. Oh, I have to try that. Especially since I wear my hair colored. Right. Exactly. But I
03:18stopped wearing perm 11 years ago. I was just about to ask. What was that? Did you do the big
03:22chop or did you transition slowly? Oh, I always do the big chop. Oh, my gosh. I do the big chop.
03:29Wow. So it's been 11 years. Yes. Do you ever just have that moment where you're like,
03:34I need to slap in this perm. I have to do it. Never. Really? I know that will get in the way
03:38of me potentially wanting to flip a color. Right. Right. But I'm not having it. Well,
