00:00So we're on the red carpet.
00:05Ms. Lawrence is here with me.
00:06Now let's talk fashion.
00:08Have you seen it?
00:08Like, who do you feel like is, have you seen anyone who's really bringing it?
00:12Oh, I think everyone looks absolutely splendid tonight, especially yourself.
00:17You better not just be saying that because I'm standing right here.
00:19No, I'm serious.
00:20I love you in a nude.
00:21Aw, thank you.
00:22I do.
00:22And I wore my hair straight.
00:23I heard y'all was saying that Lala needs to stop doing waves all the time.
00:27She needs to change it.
00:27So look, now what you got to say about this?
00:29It's perfectly straight.
00:30I think it looks good.
00:31It's a very classic look.
00:32You know, the mermaid waves, I love a mermaid wave, but I think they just got way too redundant
00:37all at one time.
00:38Okay, well, see, I took your advice.
00:39You see that?
00:40All right, so tell me, who are you looking forward to seeing here today?
00:43I'm excited to celebrate Nina Shaw tonight.
00:45I think she is a remarkable African-American woman, and it's by no surprise that she's
00:49being celebrated.
00:50Not just Nina Samal.
00:51I'm sorry, Nina Shaw.
00:52I think that African women, period, in Hollywood have been such remarkable spirits.
00:59And in a space right now where, you know, we are, we're very, as a culture, we're in
01:05a very sensitive space right now.
01:07Yes.
01:07And I think saluting and celebrating and honoring African-American women who are so
01:12integral in upholding African-American families is very important.
01:17And that's why I think it's important that we support these events and come out to these
01:20events and just support each other.
01:22I feel like it's, we're like family, just hanging out and having a big lunch.
01:26Charity begins at home.
01:27Charity begins at home.
01:28And, you know, there's been a lot of talk about the lack of diversity with the Oscars,
01:32but I believe that it shouldn't just be a conversation about the Oscars.
01:36There's a lack of diversity within our own community.
01:39And, again, I think that we have to start addressing issues right at home and with ourselves
01:44on all ends of the spectrum.
01:46Totally agree.
