00:00They were in high school. She was at the Baltimore School for the Arts.
00:04And she actually told me that the school was going to New York.
00:07But she couldn't go with the school because she had testing that day.
00:12So she needed me to take her and one of her friends to the train station so they could catch,
00:17so they could meet up with the kids at the school.
00:20And I did that.
00:21You believed her.
00:22I believed her 100%.
00:24And the young lady that she went with was, like, really, really studious.
00:29Yeah, it was Corey.
00:30Yeah, Corey. And I just, I would not expect anything like that from them.
00:34But see, that's the game, you know what I mean?
00:37You got to get somebody who, you know.
00:38The credible kid.
00:39The credible kid that can.
00:42I was definitely clever and definitely rebellious.
00:45So obviously your daughter is, like, fabulously intelligent and smart and has had an incredible career.
00:50What do you credit that to? Like, what do you think you did right?
00:53You know, I had a lot of help from my parents, too.
00:56So let me not exclude them.
00:58Because they were everything that kind of kept us sane.
01:04When we were growing up, if we even thought we wanted to do something, my mother found the class and we were in it.
01:10And so I did the same thing with Jada.
01:12It just makes you a much more well-rounded person.
01:16She was Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.
01:20And she forgot the words to Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
01:25And she was like, oh my goodness, I forgot the words.
01:28But you all know it.
01:29Help me out.
01:31I was like, huh?
01:33You know, and so the audience started singing, helping her sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
01:37It was fabulous.
01:38It was fabulous.
01:39And I was like, okay, I told y'all.
01:41This is what she's supposed to be doing.
01:43This is what she's supposed to be doing.
01:43So, that's what she was supposed to do.
01:46So, you can go ahead.
01:48I told you.
01:48So, that I was going to buy another picture.
01:50But if you don't want to see it.
01:52But if you're interacting with you now, I might be using it up.
01:54I'd love you speaking to some of your foreign people.
01:56But I know that you've got a lot of не Electronic by you.
02:00You've got a lot of feedback.
02:01I wonder what a lot of feedback.
02:01Should I do like it?
02:03You've got feedback.
02:04It's called the Family.
02:04Well, you've got a little bit more.
02:05And so I remember what a lot of reaction goes.
