01:16And I just thought she was so beautiful.
01:18And I was also working at a job that I was frustrated with and trying to get Awkward Black Girl off the ground.
01:24I tweeted something like, man, I wish I had an excuse.
01:27Like, I wish someone would just break up with me so that I could have an excuse to shave my hair off.
01:33And then I was like, oh, that's a funny plot line of like a show or something.
01:38And decided like to tweet that I was going to or put on Facebook that I wanted to shave my head bald.
01:45And so all my friends responded like, oh, my gosh, do it.
01:48You about to be so ugly.
01:49Oh, my God.
01:50What if you have a weird shaped head?
01:52And I was like, my friends are terrible.
01:55But I saw how much attention I was getting.
01:57And I was like, oh, my gosh, I should use this.
01:59I should shave my head and then do a trailer for Awkward Black Girl where I feature my bald head.
02:06And that way people who want to see what I look like will also know about this new show that I'm trying to do.
02:11And so I did it and it got like 3,000 views in a day.
02:16And I had a bald head and I had a fresh start.
02:20And that bald head changed my life.
