00:00My name is Kashmir Thompson. Creatively, I like to describe myself as just a visual artist. I do literally all types of art.
00:17My art kind of focuses around black pop culture. Some recent stuff, a lot of retro kind of designs inspired by like the 80s and 90s black pop culture.
00:29I literally draw inspiration from like everywhere. Sometimes I might hear something that reminds me of an image in my hand that I should draw or even just like a commercial or on TV. Literally from everywhere.
00:42When I'm traveling with my artwork, I always have a bunch of stuff with me and I always seem to need extra trunk space. I'm usually using both of my hands.
00:52So one of my favorite Ford Escape features is the foot activated liftgate. To be able to just kick my foot under the bumper and have the liftgate automatically open, that's the perfect go to feature for me.
01:06One of the things that I love about Atlanta is I get more bang for my buck and I'm able to have, you know, a home where I have my own studio and a home where I have more space to do what I want to do with my art.
01:24There is literally street art everywhere in Atlanta. It's just really a bright and vibrant city when it comes to the art that you can see on the side of buildings.
01:51Everything from like, you know, really detailed, large scale portrait to graffiti and more social street art is really a huge mixture of all different types of art.
02:03Now we're headed to our Atlanta, which is awesome at giving young creatives a place to be admired, a place to do what we like.
02:14I'm very, very happy and gracious that Essence of Ford decided to select me for the project.
02:21I really think that this is a great opportunity to really showcase what Atlanta has to offer and what Atlanta is about.
02:30I really appreciate it.
02:31Thank you for your time.
02:33Amen.
02:34Alright.
02:35Bye.
02:36Bye.
02:37Bye.
