00:00When I first decided to do Love & Hip Hop, I had no expectations, especially no high
00:10expectations. I was just honored and happy to know that I was going to be able to be
00:14on an American TV. Like being in America, if the people in America know you, that means
00:19you're popping, you're famous, that's it, you made it. So I just wanted to be able to
00:23showcase my music and who I was as a person. And then also some Latinos have the mentality
00:29of a cast member who said that I needed to be less Macy Gray, more Beyonce, that my
00:34afro wasn't elegant. And it just gave the opportunity to put light in an issue that's been there
00:38for many years, you know. I also was able to see a lot of people discuss all the racial
00:43and colorism issues in their community as well. So I am grateful for the amazing opportunity
00:49that Love & Hip Hop gave me.
00:51Okay, so let me tell you. I just got signed to a major label in January, the beginning
00:59of the year. My first EP, Unstoppable, is coming out. It's going to be released in November and
01:07I'm really excited about that. I always wanted to get into acting. I always felt like I had
01:12the potential because I'm naturally very animated. I talk with my hands and I talk with my face
01:16and this is just, I have this big personality and I wanted to be able to use all this energy
01:21into film. I got the lead role in the movie Fall Girls, which will be out at the end of
01:26this year or the beginning of 2019. And there's so many amazing projects just coming. I literally
01:32don't sleep because I'm always working. Whether it is that I'm doing cosmetic lines, my clothing
01:38line, I mean there's always something.
01:39I would definitely say that one of my beauty tips is shea butter. I live and die by shea
01:46butter. I love coconut oil. I moisturize and I just like to like, it makes me feel good
01:50to just like rub on myself. And as far as fashion, yeah, my fashion is all types of messed up because
01:55I wear whatever I like, you know, whether it's in style, whether it's not trendy or whatever.
02:00I don't pay attention to none of that. And fun fact, I love to shop at the thrift store.
02:04You go with $100 and stack up a whole bunch of stuff. I guess I can buy my little $10 set
02:09and then put on some Louis and be like, you see it, you know? But I don't be spending a
02:13lot of money like that, girls. You gotta be smart about your money. Don't be trying to be
02:17out there impressing everybody, spending all your money on name brands. Don't do that.
02:21You can buy once in a while, you buy a little piece and wear it till it falls apart.
