00:00Sitting back and thinking about the accomplishments that you've made will make you proud.
00:09You're working, you're dreaming.
00:11You do that, then you put that down, and you keep putting one foot in front of the other.
00:17Built for it proud, the concept of it begins with a nut and a bolt and a wheel,
00:24a seat, a bit of leather, some steel.
00:27It begins with human hands, taking these inanimate objects, putting them together,
00:34it coming together, and it being something that's useful.
00:40I appreciated as a young girl when, you know, Essence first debuted on the stands.
00:46Now here's a magazine that's devoted to the image and the beauty, the intellect that is the black woman.
00:54I see myself as a worker.
00:57And if you have to stay up all night to get it done, or if you have to get up early to get it done,
01:02you're going to do everything while there's still hours in the day to get it done.
01:08But I am proud of where I've come from.
01:11And I'm still pursuing roles and representation and growing as an artist, as a woman, as a friend, as a human being.
01:23Aiming for perfection. Not perfect, but aiming.
01:27So I think it's a brilliant, beautiful sentiment and slogan built for the crowd.
01:36Note the vision here.
