00:08Hazard in the middle of all the Confederate flag controversy that's been taking place.
00:11You remember the show, they had the Confederate flag on top of the General Lee. So do you think
00:17this is a sleigh because all symbols of the flag should be removed or a shade because you know
00:23what, it's just nostalgia. Now we're starting to take it a little bit too far. All right, so here we go on
00:30the count of three, sleigh or shade? What do you think? I know this is a tough one. This is a tough
00:38one because we grew up with the Dukes of Hazard. You know, I used to think I could jump in and out
00:42the car window, like, you know, so let's see. What are we thinking? You ready? All right, what do you
00:48have shade? Oh, we got shade, Slade. You on the fence about this one, Luenelle? Uh-oh, it's okay.
00:55Just tell me, which one do you have? Okay, so Luenelle has shade. Nico and Vince, I'll start with you.
01:02Why do you feel it's a shade? I feel like, um, that taking that show off doesn't solve the problem to
01:10me, you know? I don't believe that, um, it should spark that kind of stuff, you know? I think that,
01:18um, it's terrible what has happened, but that show was never the problem. If we remove that,
01:23then what's next, you know? Right. Are you going to remove other stuff from TV just because it's
01:27affiliated to something? I don't, that's not right for me. And it's been off the air for decades now,
01:32so I'm not even sure if people were making the connection between Dukes of Hazard and, you know,
01:36what's happening right now. I'm not, I mean, I'm, I'm a huge Dukes of Hazard fan, like grew up,
01:42you know, Bogue and Luke Duke. I mean, love the general league growing up. I mean, I am a huge
01:48Dukes of Hazard fan. The reason why I said Slade is with an asterisk, right? Given the current
01:54temperature in the culture, I don't agree with a permanent removal, but I understand stopping airing
02:01the show just for a moment to get a sense of where this conversation is going to go so that they
02:06aren't insensitive. Mind you, it's a corporation, right? Right. So what they don't want to do is
02:11put themselves in liability, right? Where they would lose money. So I understand the reason why
02:16corporate, corporately they would stop. My hope is that they do ultimately re-air. But I also would
02:21say if we were in a Jewish nation and we were watching television and there was a prominent
02:27television show that displayed a swastika, right? No one would be up in arms about that show going off
02:32the air because of what that insensitivity means to the people. So I understand their move. I respect
02:37the show creatively, but I think it's probably going to be a temporary decision and will probably re-air
02:41ultimately. Fair enough. Luenelle, you get the final word on this one. I just think that it'd be like
02:48taking, you know, Bill Cosby's show off for what he did. It's not about the show, you know,
02:58or taking Archie Bunker's show off for what he did. We still enjoyed the show. Right. The show isn't
03:05the problem. The flag is not the problem. It's the people and their mindset that is the problem. There
03:11you go. When people are born, they don't, they're not born into racism. It has to be taught. Right. So
03:16there's, we got to change the minds of the people that are out there teaching this disease, you know?
