00:00you're extremely successful and as you mentioned we've watched you grow since the age of three
00:07under a public eye and in an industry that can be not so nice so under shaming sweetie under
00:13shaming one of the most successful talents male or female to come out of Disney and you did it
00:21with your clothes on if you will you weren't over sexualized you did it oftentimes we see
00:26young talent kind of go to the farthest end of the spectrum to show that I've not grown up but
00:32we watch you go through puberty and now a young woman and an entrepreneur was that a conscious
00:35decision or was that something that you made I don't know can you receive some pushback on from
00:41the industry like we need to see this or that to show that you've grown so to speak I think it was
00:46instilled in me at a very young age and being that I wasn't the skinniest person at a young age I don't
00:52think any nobody tried to push me to the sex pot at the size that I was even though I was sexy to
00:58my father you sexy girl I was sexy to my father and you know everybody wants to feel like sex is
01:05going to grow you up but I don't believe that to be true personally I believe knowledge and experiences
01:11traveling and conversations disagreements and debates help grow you up but like you said being
01:21in this industry you only get a certain way to show your growth right when everybody still wants
01:28you to be seven and in very limited amounts of seconds and times and that can be chopped up and
01:32there you go and you better know how to work the system because something you know you get it in and
01:36you get your you got to get your money and get out right I understand one thing we do know how to do
01:40this kid people get our money and get out so and I also recall I believe it was in the Oprah interview
01:47where they did a look back and talked about going forward and you mentioned that maybe black Twitter
01:50would be upset with you do you still feel that black Twitter is upset with you I don't even pay
01:55attention somebody else told me that they were mad I don't read it um I don't know again and I say this
02:01to this girl that I met the other day at a photo shoot who came to me was like I don't like what you
02:04said about black people I only speak for myself only for myself I'm sorry that you're mad about how
02:10I feel um but you know there are so many things going on in the world I think people kind of just
02:15need to look at the bigger picture and how we need to grow as a society because we're on this earth
02:21together
