00:12Yes, Lincoln has been involved for six consecutive years and I'm so excited to represent Lincoln Motor Company again today.
00:19So tell me what about this event keeps you interested wanting to be a partner with Essence on this?
00:24Well this year is really a remarkable year to be an African-American woman whether you're in front of the camera or behind the camera
00:31and Lincoln is just proud to be able to support African-American women in the arts and film and music and that's why we're here.
00:38You know what I want to know though, I know we're going to get back to the business, but I want to know how is Matthew McConaughey?
00:44Matthew McConaughey is very well. We're so proud of the work that he's doing for us and our MKC and MKZ ads.
00:51It's just been wonderful. Even the parodies, the Saturday Night Live made fun of it, but it's all fun and games.
00:57We're just really proud of the work that he's done for us.
00:59Yes, and you know we talk about power of our presence as black women. You mentioned earlier that it's been a great year.
01:05What are some of the highlights you think for you as a black woman as well? What were some of the highlights in the last, you know, 2015?
01:11Well actually I'm just really proud of Lincoln continuing to support this company. I'm very, very proud of that.
01:19You know, our partnership with Essence Communications has been wonderful, whether it's here with black women in music or with Essence Festival.
