Transcript
00:00My name is Charlie Vox and I am the lead singer of Random Acts of Charlie. I'm a singer, songwriter, producer. I've written songs for Rihanna, for Melanie and Fiona, a few acts overseas. And I'm very excited for the world to finally hear my voice.
00:30Well, I've always wanted to be a singer. I never really thought I could sing when I was younger, so I didn't really have the self-confidence.
00:55But my mother was very influential and, you know, stroking my talent and getting me out there. And I started writing songs when I was about maybe 15, 16 years old, just putting together my own demo. And my songs just started getting placed all over the place.
01:10See, I need some time to heal, heal, heal. Get a hold of how I feel, feel, feel. If I want something that's real, real, real. Yeah, I need some time to heal, heal, heal, heal.
01:37I'm working on an EP, a mixtape. It's called BPMs and it should be out on July 29th. I'm very excited about that. It's just a group of songs that I feel are just from my heart and from my spirit.
01:51I named it BPMs because I feel like everybody has their own soundtrack and this is my life and my beats per minute, basically.
01:58See, if I want something that's real, real, real. Yeah, I need some time to heal, heal, heal. Yeah, I need some time to heal, heal, heal.
02:17See, if I want something that's real, get a hold of how I feel, feel, feel. If I want something that's real, oh, I need some time to heal, heal, heal, heal.
