00:00Please put your hands together for SWV.
00:05So tell us about that first year, that first album you put out.
00:09I mean, it's been almost 20 years, right?
00:1121 years.
00:1221 years. Oh my God.
00:13And we're only 21, so that's a lot.
00:15Exactly, that's true, that's true.
00:17But I mean, your album is like a classic.
00:19So just tell us, what was the best moment back then?
00:22One of the best things that stood out to me is how fast the first album just shot to the top.
00:27We had no control over it.
00:28We weren't prepared for it.
00:30It just went like crazy.
00:31One minute we were home, chilling with our families.
00:33The next minute we all had to move because we just had no peace at home.
00:37So now you guys are here because you have a new deal that you signed, right?
00:42Can you want to tell us about it?
00:44She's a good storyteller.
00:46Oh, well, you're talking about the television show, right?
00:48Television.
00:48Well, SWV recently partnered up with WeTV to create our own reality show.
00:54And we wanted to do it, you know?
00:56Everybody else is doing reality TV.
00:58We're a great girl group, had a lot of fans, so why not?
01:01I think another thing, SWV has, we've been very successful.
01:05We sold over 15 million records.
01:07And we from the Bronx and Brooklyn, like, you know?
01:10Bronx and Brooklyn.
01:11And, you know, anybody who know me, yes, BX stand up, baby, yes.
01:16So, you know, we always, that's all we know is the struggle.
01:19So we can relate.
01:20We just want to be able to relate to a lot of, just anybody who ever walked in a state, you know, just hood love.
01:28What more can I say?
01:29Just that hood love, we go through normal s***, we've been, you know, dissed and dismissed.
01:35Oh, my God.
01:36Did I curse?
01:38That's another issue.
01:39Y'all pray for me here.
01:40This is family.
01:41This is all the process.
01:42I'm a work in progress here, okay?
01:43I'm a work in progress.
01:44Yes.
