00:00This is Andrea Artaberry here live backstage at the Tracy Reese show.
00:25I am here with Jeannie.
00:26She's the lead hairstylist here and she's creating the looks for Tracy May that you're seeing.
00:31You're going to see her on the models.
00:32How are you doing today?
00:33Good, how are you?
00:34Good.
00:35So tell us a little bit about the looks that you're creating today.
00:37Sure.
00:38Tracy's inspiration was a country fair, kind of rustic, like you've been out running around.
00:42So we came up with this look, which is also very 70s inspired.
00:45It's really just creating a nice, full texture through the top by setting the hair with a
00:52half-inch curling iron.
00:53You're wrapping the hair into a figure eight around the clamp in the barrel.
00:56So it's basically creating a really full texture, but that ridge is also giving it a little edge.
01:02The style is actually very romantic, but the texture we're creating is really edgy.
01:07Well, Tracy wanted feminine masculine meeting.
01:19So we decided to do a smoky, sparkly brown eye.
01:23Lots of mascara.
01:24It's the Stiletto Voluptuous that we've used for that.
01:27And it's the Eye Studio Quad, the wet technology that we've achieved the eye look with.
01:33On the cheeks, she has the illuminator, the pink illuminator.
01:37And on the lips, she has the Color Sensational lipstick, which is a nude tone, like close to
01:43coffee, it's called.
01:44And you dab it on to get the soft edge of the look.
01:48Awesome.
01:49Well, you guys heard it here first on Essence.com.
01:55Make sure you stay tuned for more Fashion Week coverage.
01:58Lovely.
