00:00When I saw the bright lights, I said, that's something that I want to do.
00:06So from there, I began to dream big.
00:08I didn't know what I was going to do to get on the stage,
00:11but I felt like I had something to say to my community, to my generation.
00:16And so there, from the beginning, it started there.
00:19And when I got my opportunity, I was prepared with that book
00:22that I was writing all the poetry and all the poems in.
00:25And then when I went to the studio to audition for a record label to be that female MC,
00:33they were just like, oh, my God, she's ready.
00:35So I think the biggest thing is preparation for the big moment,
00:40for the dream that God has dropped into your spirit.
