00:00I would definitely say, this is more so from an advice standpoint to the audience, I would definitely say for anybody who is an entrepreneur that is building a company, be mindful of building your company from the top down and not just the bottom up.
00:11As an entrepreneur, you get into it and you want to hire people that you can afford to pay.
00:16So you start hiring all these $10 an hour employees.
00:19Well, they might be great for you to help maintain your business, but they're not the people who are going to actually grow your business.
00:23So you need to seek out your advisory council first and your C-suite level people first, even if you cannot afford to pay them.
00:32It is okay.
00:32Their job as a volunteer for you once a month for one hour is more valuable sometimes than a $10 an hour employee.
00:39So you want to be very mindful of that.
00:41So often as an entrepreneur, we get into, we're like, oh, I can only afford to pay this or this is only what's in the budget.
00:46I'm like, no, go for the value.
00:48And even if you have that person just for a little bit, it's still of great value.
00:52And over time, their advice will help you to be able to pay them.
