00:05commenting on allegations leveled against the now-deceased Jeffrey Epstein.
00:10In a video that was published on Tuesday by the conservative group Project Veritas,
00:14the ABC News anchor was caught on camera expressing frustration that the network did
00:18not publish her 2015 interview with Virginia Roberts-Jufri, who accused Epstein
00:23and Prince Andrew of sexual misconduct.
00:26In the video, she notes that ABC wouldn't put the interview on air,
00:29saying she was told who's Jeffrey Epstein, and further adding,
00:39The anchor went on to say that ABC was afraid they wouldn't be able to interview
00:42Prince William and Kate Middleton if the story were made public.
00:46She further notes,
00:47The organization said on Tuesday that the Robach video was provided by an ABC insider.
01:01But now, in a statement provided to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC News has responded to the leaked video,
01:06saying,
01:07That work has led to a two-hour documentary and six-part podcast that will air in the new year.
01:24As for Robach, the anchor provided a more extensive response, explaining her comments, saying she was
01:29caught in a private moment of frustration.
