00:00But let's take a look at the men's ice hockey gold medal.
00:03Canada, 45% chance right now.
00:05No, no, no.
00:06We're going down to the U.S., Joe.
00:07$0.28, $100 wager pays back $3.58 on U.S. and A.
00:13U.S. and A.
00:14That's where I'm going.
00:16I would bet both Canada and U.S.A., Donnie.
00:20And either way, I'm going to make money.
00:21So just don't have any sort of upset going on there for the gold.
00:26I think we're in good shape.
00:28Slot it down.
00:28How about putting the flyer on ETHLE right now?
00:30The home team, Joe.
00:31$100 investment pays back $10,000.
00:35How about that?
00:37Sports.
00:38We love sports.
00:39That's why we have the early line right here, to keep you involved in sports
00:42and also ways to handicap and have some fun.
00:44But just as a sportsman, as we like to say, myself, Donnie Wrightside,
00:48and Joe Ranieri, we say to ourselves, look,
00:50forget about the four major sports here in the U.S.
00:52Sometimes global affairs take precedence here.
00:55Look at the run, Joe.
00:56We are about to have the Olympics start February 6th, the Super Bowl,
01:01February 8th, college baseball, February 13th.
01:04I don't know who put that in there.
01:04Throw that out.
01:05World Baseball Classic, March 4th, March Madness, 17th, opening day at 26th,
01:11and so forth here.
01:12I love it.
01:12We are set up big time.
01:14And again, I don't know who snuck in college baseball, but shame on you, Joe.
01:17What's wrong with college baseball starting?
01:20Throw it out.
01:21We're not going to Mark Light.
01:23I'm not going to see it Mark Light this summer.
01:24I won't.
01:25The softest lines in the betting markets are on college baseball.
01:31We will be talking a lot about college baseball this year because it is a moneymaker.
01:37But you're right, Donnie.
01:38These next couple of weeks, and don't forget, I mean, we got one month left in the regular
01:44season in college hoops.
01:46March Madness will be here before you know it.
01:48Conference championships.
01:49So the next couple of weeks, even though we're saying goodbye to football after Sunday,
01:54get ready.
01:55There is a lot happening here heading into the summer.
01:57And by the way, do we have the, when is the final for the World Cup?
02:01Because I see it's on June 11th.
02:03What would you say the World Cup lasts?
02:04Maybe a month or so?
02:06Oh, July 19th, which is phenomenal.
02:08And you know what that helps us out with?
02:10That's usually the dead time in our business here.
02:13We actually have the World Cup going on live.
02:15That is absolutely sensational.
02:17And some of you might be watching this program and going, Donnie, all you do is laugh.
02:20You hate soccer.
02:20And I technically do.
02:21I don't care about the EPL or the MLS.
02:23I thoroughly enjoy the World Cup.
02:25It's a different product.
02:26It's nation's pride.
02:28It's massive.
02:29And I buy into it.
02:29I am very much looking forward to the World Cup at this point.
02:32And that helps seeing what that time frame is in the U.S.
02:35Fantastic.
02:36I welcome the World Cup at this point right now.
02:39But let's also get involved in something where we take a look at the Olympics coming up.
02:43Dan Wolkin with a tweet here.
02:44I have arrived in Italy for the Olympics.
02:46And this is what they think of us, he tweets out.
02:49I don't know what type of pizza that is.
02:51But if you are in Italy, pizzas look like that.
02:55What is the pepperoni?
02:56What is that, little hockey pucks?
02:58French fries?
02:59Where's the cheese at?
03:00But the dough does look tremendous.
03:02The dough looks tremendous.
03:04But no, that can't honestly be something they're serving them, are they?
03:08I mean, who's the sponsor?
03:09Domino's?
03:10What are we doing here?
03:11You're in Italy.
03:13Like, come on with that.
03:14That's absurd.
03:15I wouldn't say that's what they think of us.
03:17And they'd be like, I don't know the Americans.
03:19The Americana pie's got fries?
03:23Come on.
03:23That's great.
03:24Why not just throw some garbage?
03:25Why not just throw like an empty tin can on top and we'll eat that bad boy as well.
03:29The Americana for a pizza in Italy.
03:31By the way, if I ever went to Italy and got pizza and it wasn't going to be very upset about that here at this point.
03:35But that looks like terrible.
03:36How about the one at the top of the picture, Joe?
03:38The super veggie?
03:40Come on now.
03:41Where did it come to eat super veggie and have this Americana pizza with French fries splattered across there?
03:46Stop it.
03:47Yeah, yeah.
03:48No, just give me the margarita.
03:50I'm good to go.
03:51Everybody wins.
03:52You're in Italy.
03:53Stop it.
03:54Give me the fresh basil.
03:55Not French fries, please.
03:57My goodness.
03:59Most gold medals at the Olympics, Joe.
04:02Norway, minus 170.
04:04Look at the U.S. in second year.
04:06Plus 430 for a chance at the most gold.
04:09Love to see that here.
04:10U.S. moving up being a power in the Winter Olympics?
04:13How about that?
04:14Yeah, I mean, well, listen, Norway last Winter Olympics was the runaway winner for this for this most gold medals.
04:23I think most total medals, too, as well.
04:26And you would think, right?
04:27I mean, they should be the favorite since they're going to have athletes in just about every event, whether it's ice skating, skiing, whatever it is they got going on there.
04:36But it would be nice to see Team USA get themselves maybe come a little bit closer this year than they did four years ago.
04:44By the way, they said 2026 Winter Olympics gold medals for the Team USA, 12 and a half.
04:48Is that number going up higher?
04:50Was it 12 and a half last week?
04:52I seem to think it was a little bit lower, but 12 and a half at a minus 118 price now.
04:56Yeah, I don't mind the over.
04:59I mean, it gives you something to root for here, Donnie, right?
05:02So we're all going to be watching Team USA and some events that were like, wow, we didn't even know that existed.
05:08But, yeah, I'm ready for Team USA to clear house.
05:12I'm hoping for at least 14, Donnie.
05:15That's what I'm hoping for.
05:16Milan here.
05:17By the way, I've just taken a look at some things here on the schedule.
05:20February 4th, which, again, before the opening, which is always kind of crazy.
05:24The opening ceremony is not like the official opening of the Olympics here.
05:27Like, you do have events before that.
05:29I'm seeing curling and mixed doubles preliminaries in curling.
05:33February 4th at 1.05 p.m. Eastern, Joe.
05:35A little curling for you there to get started.
05:38My favorite of all favorite late-night Olympic television is you throw on curling, and that is just kick back, a little bourbon in the hand, and just watch them swiffer their way right into.
05:51Still don't completely understand how you get the points or you don't, but it is just fantastic watching it.
05:57It really is.
05:58We got Alpine skiing, Joe, coming up February 12th at 5.30 a.m.
06:03I'm just scrolling down.
06:04How about the skeleton?
06:05I believe that is some form of a luge, I want to say.
06:08Yes, I think so.
06:09The finals heat for heat number one is February 12th at 3.30 a.m., Joe.
06:14We'd be up for a little skeleton action at 3.30 a.m.
06:17I might dabble in a little skeleton action, Donnie.
06:21Why not?
06:22Rooting for Team USA across the board.
06:25But I think this is going to be a whole lot of fun because you're right, Donnie.
06:29And I have the Olympics and the World Cup in the same year, this is going to be a good time over the next couple of months.
06:37Over the course of the 2026 Winter Olympics, 119 events will unfold and 245 gold medals will be awarded here.
06:44How about this?
06:45I never heard of this one.
06:46I don't know what this is, Joe.
06:47Ski mountaineering begins on the 19th at 3.50 a.m. with the women's sprint qualifiers here.
06:55Ski mountaineering.
06:56Does that mean you ski and you also have to design a building at the same time?
07:00Like, what is this?
07:02That's a great question.
07:03I have no idea.
07:04There's a few events in here, Donnie, where I'm like, huh?
07:07I don't like is it some sort of way?
07:09What are we doing here?
07:11You know what I want to know also, Donnie?
07:12Is there a lot of options for live betting the Olympic events?
07:18I'm wondering, like, can we get in and the hockey like after the first, right?
07:23Is that I'm wondering what those markets are going to be like.
07:26Yeah, a little maybe a little speed skating action.
07:29Here's the snowboardings out here is the flying tomato in this.
07:32Who's competing in snowboarding?
07:33Aren't we usually the favorites in snowboarding?
07:35Always.
07:36I thought I thought we invented it, didn't we?
07:38I mean, we should be the favorites, Donnie.
07:41That's what I'm talking about.
07:43X Games, baby.
07:44X Games.
07:45They still do that?
07:46The bobsled here.
07:47You got the biathlon freestyle skiing at this point.
07:52You put on a show out there.
07:53Maybe the Australians are in that.
07:54Little, little kangaroo action.
07:56You never know.
