00:04A source confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the 72-year-old former late-night host was burned in what he has described as a gasoline fire that broke out in his Los Angeles car garage on Sunday.
00:15A statement from Leno reads,
00:16I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am okay. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.
00:23According to TMZ, he was taken to Grossman Burn Center.
00:25People Magazine first reported that Leno canceled an appearance at a financial conference in Las Vegas Sunday night due to a health issue.
00:33An email to Forum 2022 attendees from the financial branch stated,
00:37His family was not able to provide us very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling.
00:44All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight.
00:48Leno reportedly owns about 180 vintage and exotic cars and roughly 160 motorcycles.
