00:09In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Caribbean nation expressed, Cuba
00:15inequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, while Rafi men its
00:21commitment to cooperate with the United States and other nations to strengthen regional and
00:26international security.
00:27The statement follows, Cuba categorically declares that it does not host, support, finance
00:32or allow terrorist or extremist organizations.
00:36Our country maintains a policy of zero tolerance towards the financing of terrorism and money
00:41laundering and is committed to the prevention, detection and confrontation of illegal financial
00:47activities in accordance with international standards.
00:50The entity also emphasizes that any past interactions involving individuals subsequently designated
00:56as terrorists occurred solely in limited humanitarian contexts linked to internationally recognized
01:03peace processes at the request of their respective governments in a fully transparent manner.
01:08At the end of his proclamation, the Foreign Minister states that the Cuban people and the U.S.
01:13people benefit from constructive engagement, cooperation in accordance with the law and peaceful
01:19co-existence, Cuba Rafi men its willingness to maintain a respectful and reciprocal dialogue geared toward
01:25tangible results with the government of the United States based on mutual interests and international law.
