00:00What's your takeaway with those two guys, Tony Dungy and Bill Pullian?
00:04I have a lot of respect for Coach Dungy.
00:07You know, I believe that he is, you know, a guy that I voted for for the Hall of Fame.
00:18And so he's obviously a Pro Football Hall of Fame voter, and I think he was well deserving of that.
00:25And I would hope that he thought that the guy that, you know, kind of sent him home packing a couple of times, at least, in AFC championship games and playoffs, would be worthy also of being in the Hall of Fame.
00:48Okay, well then here, don't you think, and Armando, I remember years ago when I was doing radio down in South Florida.
00:55I remember you saying, man, you know what, when I grow up, I want to be Tom Brady.
01:00Best looking girl, the best team, the hair's nice, this guy's got everything going.
01:07I love that segment we did, it was one of my favorite segments.
01:11Well, do you think that this could affect and how people perceive him?
01:14Because remember, he was suspended for four games for Deflategate, and Belichick wasn't implicated in that at all.
01:22It was Brady that lost those four games.
01:25Do you think that that, people could come up and go, well, if we're going to use that one metric for Bill Belichick, how do we not use that same metric for Tom Brady?
01:35Yeah, so, number one, you're asking me to explain and understand people who I don't agree with, right?
01:43So, logically, if you're all bong tight about Bill Belichick not getting in because of Spygate, I assume that you're going to bring up, you know, whenever it is a couple of years down the road that Tom Brady had Deflategate.
02:05And I don't know how that's going to go.
02:08I assume that there will be a lesson learned from the total, you know, public relations disaster that we've had in that the Hall of Fame Selectors Committee looks really bad in deciding that Bill Belichick is not a first ballot Hall of Famer.
02:30I don't know if the Hall of Fame is going to address that somehow.
02:34I wouldn't be surprised if the process changes somewhat.
02:39I wouldn't be surprised if selectors are changed out.
02:44You know, the Hall of Fame put out this statement last week saying that basically it's a shot across the bow of selectors.
02:54If if you are seen to have violated the selection process or any of the bylaws, you are subject to dismissal.
03:04Well, that's that's obviously a clear message to selectors.
03:10I would say the Hall of Fame should be subject to changing the process because it I just mentioned to you, it's it's you get three votes for five guys.
03:23It used to be that it was a yes or no vote and you could elect as many of them as you wanted or as few of them as you wanted.
03:30Now we get three votes for five guys and I still have a hard time believing that of the five guys that we mentioned in the last segment, Belichick, Robert Kraft as the contributor, Ken Anderson, Elsie Greenwood and Roger Craig as the veteran players, that Belichick is not one of the three that you would think should be in the Hall of Fame.
03:55It's illogical to me.
