00:00The Grammys, Joe, one of the greatest showcase on the landscape of getting your music out there
00:05and performing in front of millions and millions of people worldwide.
00:08This is how you get paid in the future, win some of these awards, Joe.
00:11How about the Grammy Award for Record of the Year, which is actually the best song of the year.
00:16Trading at 51% right now.
00:18It's Luther, Kendrick Lamar featuring, or should I say with SZA here at 51%.
00:23You also have APT with Rose and Bruno Mars.
00:27It was Abracadabra with Lady Gaga, but it looks like, look, anytime you get a little sample
00:31of Luther Vandross in a topic, you're going to catch my heart.
00:35Luther, number one right now in this category for trading.
00:39Yeah, and at 51 cents, the market is basically telling us that, you know,
00:44the cultural impact of this award, right?
00:47The Grammys have been criticized for missing the mark on hip-hop and R&B
00:51in major categories for years now.
00:54But the problem is, at 51 cents, that's pretty shaky ground.
00:58That's barely a coin flip here, Donnie.
01:01It tells you that the market believes voters want to give it to Kendrick,
01:05but they aren't fully convinced that this track and this album is the juggernaut
01:11that everyone else seems to think it is.
01:14So this might be a situation where if you look down the board here a little bit,
01:19that might be where the value lies.
01:21A little doachy down the board, but how about this?
01:24DTMF by Bad Bunny, one of the hottest artists on the planet.
01:28He is going to be performing the halftime at the Super Bowl,
01:31only trading at 11 cents here, which means a $100 investment will pay back $910.
01:37You can also do very well in that no-contract market as well.
01:41Up in the air, it feels like right now, with the favorite going to Luther.
01:44Yeah, and it should, right?
01:47It feels like the market, this is one of those where I think you've got some opportunities,
01:53Donnie, to be able to go down and take a shot with a couple of these other ones,
01:58because again, 51 cents doesn't tell me.
02:01The market's crossing their fingers and hoping they get it right,
02:05and that's not a great investment strategy.
02:08Best new artist out here.
02:10Now, granted, you don't have to be like 17 or 16 years old to win that.
02:12There's a guy in this right now, Leon Thomas, who's trading at 18%.
02:16Joe, right now, he's 32 years old.
02:18The rest of the people up top, 26 and 25 years old.
02:21That's Olivia Dean as the heavy favorite, trading at a 70% chance,
02:25followed by Alex Warren, and how about Addison Rae?
02:28Cat's Eye trading at less than 1% chance right now, Joe.
02:32Dean, running away with this early.
02:35Yeah, and this category is usually very volatile, right?
02:38So a 70%-plus favorite implies a strong consensus block of voters here.
02:45And let's face it, I mean, it feels like insiders know something here.
02:50I wouldn't chase this price, though.
02:53Best new artist is the category most prone to, oh, my word, I can't believe it.
02:59So 71 cents is too expensive for a category that often surprises everybody in the market, Donnie.
03:05So what Joe could be saying here right now, Olivia Dean with that 70% chance here,
03:09if you bet the yes, it's actually listed at 71 cents.
03:12If you do bet the no, that's a 31 cent price right here, Joe.
03:17A $100 investment on that no contract, that pays back $3.23.
03:21As Joe said, if there's volatility, buy off that volatility here, Joe.
03:25Buy it.
03:26Yep, yep.
03:27History tells us a lot with this category here.
03:30Don't go chasing at 71 cents.
03:32Not a smart investment.
