00:13here's everything that went down at the 2025 Grammys.
00:17Stars like Taylor Swift, Chappell Rhone, Sabrina Carpenter and more
00:21graced the red carpet for music's biggest night.
00:24Host Trevor Noah kicked off the night addressing the devastating wildfires
00:27that raged through Los Angeles in January and noting that the telecast would be raising funds
00:32for Music Cares Fire Relief, supporting the work of Music Cares as well as other charities.
00:37In addition, the Grammys gave ad space throughout the night to local businesses.
00:41Noah also noted that musical act Dawes were among those who lost everything in the fires,
00:46which segued into the band taking the stage for the opening performance of the night
00:50alongside John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard and St. Vincent.
00:57Sabrina Carpenter delivered one of the early performances of the night,
01:04giving a cheeky performance of her hits Espresso and Please, Please, Please.
01:12Sabrina also earned one of the early wins of the night for Best Pop Vocal Album,
01:17in addition to Dochi for Best Rap Album.
01:20Don't allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you that tell you that you can't be here.
01:26The rapper also capped off her win with a show-stopping performance of her hit Catfish and Denial is a River.
01:33A standout moment was when Taylor Swift presented the award for Best Country Album to Beyoncé for Cowboy Carter.
01:41And the Grammy goes to Cowboy Carter.
01:47Other notable performances included Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, Charlie XCX, Chapel Roan, Shakira,
01:54and a Quincy Jones tribute performance that included Stevie Wonder, Lainey Wilson, and more,
02:00where Cynthia Erivo gave a captivating rendition of Fly Me to the Moon.

02:09And Janelle Monae gave a Thriller performance.
02:14The weekend also made a surprise Grammy's return a few years after boycotting the award show.

02:24Chris Martin delivered the In Memoriam,
02:26and Queen Latifah delivered the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award to Alicia Keys.
02:31I'm so grateful for this energy in the room tonight, the love, the community.
02:35It's a real thing.
02:36As for the big awards, Chapel Roan took home the Grammy for Best New Artist
02:40and gave an empowering speech calling out record labels.
02:44Record labels need to treat their artists as valuable employees
02:47with a livable wage and health insurance and protection.
02:50And the awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year
02:53went to Kendrick Lamar for Not Like Us.
02:56This is what it's about, man, because at the end of the day,
02:59nothing more powerful than rap music.
03:01I don't care what it is.
03:02And for the final award, members of the Los Angeles Fire Department
03:05delivered the coveted Album of the Year Grammy
03:08to none other than Beyonce for Cowboy Carter.
03:11I just feel very full and very honored.
