00:15According to a former royal photographer, while Prince William and Kate Middleton
00:20are in a great place right now, even they are prone to some rough patches.
00:25Speaking to Fox News Digital, former royal photographer Ian Pelham-Turner
00:30explained that it isn't always smooth sailing for the future king and queen.
00:35There were ongoing rumors at one time that the marriage between William and Kate
00:40may not have been as blissful as publicly portrayed, he explained.
00:45William has been known for his outbursts, and Kate has found ways of calming the city.
00:50situation down. But personally, I feel after the cancer diagnosis,
00:55and the threat of losing her, the closeness was rekindled. And that is why
01:00decisions were made such as their quieter living accommodation. He continued, speaking of the
01:05family of fives, moved to Forest Lodge from the Adelaide Cottage. They chose the
01:10smaller eight-bedroom estate, rather than a palace to try and lead a normal family life.
01:15He said, adding that it's become their focus. The family has
01:20lived in Adelaide Cottage within the Windsor Palace ground since August 2022.
01:25Since then, Queen Elizabeth has passed away, and both King Charles
01:30and Princess Kate were diagnosed with cancer and started fighting their individual battles.
01:35Like any family, they're ready for a fresh start. And for them, that means a new
01:40home. Windsor has become their home, an insider told NBC.
01:45However, over the last few years, while they have lived at Adelaide Cottage,
01:50there have been some really difficult times. Moving gives them an opportunity.
01:55opportunity for a fresh start and a new chapter. An opportunity to leave some of the more
02:00unhappy memories behind. This is a move for the long term. They say,
02:05see it as their forever home. The family will be moving to Forest Cottage.
02:10Forest Cottage, an eight-bedroom home in Windsor Great Park. This move is being
02:15funded privately, with William and Kate paying market rent, and as well.
02:20As with Adelaide Cottage, they will not have live-in staff.
