00:40it was great powder this morning it's getting a little sleety now but we're having a great time
00:45in new york tourists are loving the snow but hating what it's doing to their plan
00:50i love and hate at the moment it's great because we don't have this kind of weather in life
00:55but it's bad because we can't go around this is really crazy

01:15and texas are getting hit the hardest with tens of thousands of outages in each
01:20state at least 11 people have now died in the brutal cold most were found
01:25outdoors officials say hypothermia is the likely cause the national
01:30weather service says nearly 90 million people are under extreme cold alerts right now
01:35and air travel is basically wrecked more than 4 000 flights are already canceled
01:40today airports up and down the east coast are struggling to catch up
01:45the federal government is stepping in emergency declarations are now in place for more than two
01:50states fema has pre-positioned supplies and rescue teams and homeless
01:55security is urging people to stay home if they can unfortunately
