00:00New York City has already had a taste of winter this month, and another round is on the way.
00:07The Big Apple and much of the tri-state area are bracing for what could be their biggest snowfall in more than three years,
00:14with the first flakes expected later today picking up tonight and tapering off by early Saturday.
00:20Forecasters say parts of the region could see four to seven inches of snow, with the heaviest falling overnight.
00:26If the city tops four inches, it would mark its most significant snow since January 2022.
00:33Ahead of the storm, crews are already preparing, planes being de-iced at airports, roads pre-treated, and plows standing by.
00:41Governor Kathy Hochul says more than 1,600 plow trucks are ready statewide.
00:46Officials are also urging caution during what's already one of the busiest travel weeks of the year.
00:51The Port Authority expects nearly 15 million travelers to pass through the region's airports, bridges, and tunnels this holiday stretch,
