00:24A US official told the Associated Press on Tuesday that Trump revealed classified information
00:29about the Islamic State group to Russian diplomats in a meeting on May 10th.
00:33Since then, there have been many published reports that claim classified information was
00:38indeed disclosed, something the White House has pushed back against but has not denied.
00:43I wanted to share with Russia, at an openly scheduled White House meeting, which I have
00:47the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety, humanitarian
00:53reasons.
00:54Plus, I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against ISIS and terrorism.
00:58Trump tweeted, the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told the Associated
01:03Press Tuesday that the classified information had been shared with the president by an ally,
01:07violating the confidentiality of an intelligence sharing agreement with that country.
01:12An excerpt from an official transcript of the meeting reveals that Trump told them, quote,
01:16I get great intel.
01:17I have people brief me on great intel every day, the official said.
