00:00A lot of people think when you're a college sports program and you join the Big Ten, all riches come with it.
00:06But Tyrone's favorite school, Rutgers, and the Scarlet Knights are an example that that's not always the case.
00:11So the Rutgers joined the Big Ten about, what, five years ago now?
00:16Yeah.
00:16Well, actually a little longer than that.
00:18I think they joined in 2014, okay?
00:20So in 2014, Rutgers joins the Big Ten.
00:23They have now lost $516 million since they joined the Big Ten, and last year they lost $78 million.
00:35How do you explain that without a national championship, Tyrone?
00:38Without a national championship, they barely make bowl games.
00:41It's just a mismanagement of the money.
00:43I'm still representing Rutgers, though, as people can see on the screen.
00:46I'm always going to represent.
00:47But it's mismanagement of the money.
00:50They also were coming from a place of debt, and they overspent when they realized they were getting so much money.
00:56The mistakes have been made, but I feel like they'll turn it around.
00:59But mistakes have been made.
01:00I can't deny it.
01:01Now, Urban Meyer came out the other day and said he thinks Rutgers is the next Indiana, that they have a chance to, because of the portal and all that stuff.
01:08And I'm looking at it like, Greg Shano's the most overrated coach in the history of college football.
01:14Period.
01:14Stop.
01:15And here's a program that, like you said, barely makes it to a bowl game every year.
01:19They lost $78 million last year, and they have nothing to show for it.
01:24And I love Steve Peichel, the coach of the basketball team.
01:27But last year, you had three first-round draft picks on your roster, and you were under 500 and didn't make the tournament.
01:35At some point, if we're going to lose $80 million a year, let's get a lot of dumb kids, win a lot of games, and let's have a parade.
01:43Can we make that happen?
01:44Can we make that happen?
