00:00I know we don't want to keep harping on winter storm fern, but there are some good things that
00:09came of it. So, um, I just saw a headline that said Pennsylvania pharmacy offers free salt to
00:17people ahead of winter storm fern. And I thought, yeah, Pennsylvania pharmacy, go for it. So upon
00:24reading more, I thought, I know this pharmacy really well, and I'm very excited to share it
00:29with you. So skip back pharmacy in skip back township, Pennsylvania gave away free road
00:34salt to neighbors as supplies ran low and local stores. The owner there, um, Dr. Mack organized
00:40the effort by securing a dump truck of salt through RVG trucking, which transported it from
00:47Delaware and residents arrived with shovels and buckets to collect what they needed. This is
00:53amazing. You want to name one of those residents? Yeah, boy. Nice. Went down there with my shovel
00:58in some buckets and the community vibe. Andy was unbelievable down there. This is what Dr. Mack
01:03does, Jeff. So before you moved to back to Pennsylvania, um, Dr. Mack became a good friend
01:10of the Andy summer show because during the COVID pandemic, he committed to vaccinating anyone
01:16who showed up to one of his mass vax events. I was one of them. I helped volunteer at a few of them
01:23and I got my vaccinations. My kids all got our vaccinations through Dr. Mack at skip back pharmacy.
01:28And he made national news because he would dress as Superman and he would go walk around and make sure
01:36everybody's getting their vaccinations. And he became a character. He was on all of the major news
01:41networks all over the nation because he was making sure that everybody got what they needed at this
01:46very scary time in our world. Handsome fella too. He ended up vaccinating over a hundred thousand
01:52people by the end of 2021, which was amazing. Dr. Mack was born and raised in Lansdale. And according to
01:58his bio on the skip back pharmacy website, he is a serial entrepreneur driven by a passion to serve
02:05society and help those in need. And once again, he did not disappoint. Yeah. The money he raised went
02:11to a local cafe that employs adults with special needs. Yeah. It's called the so much to give
02:17inclusive cafe. Been there. It is such a great cause. And he said, Hey, I want to give as much money as I
02:23can. Last time I checked their goal on their GoFundMe over $10,000, but he was taking donations by credit
02:29card or cash in person. And that jar was full. Right. So all of this salt, this road salt,
02:35that he got, he gave away for free. And he just asked people to make donations to this great
02:38organization, which is fantastic.
02:58Oh yeah.
