Mohammed Alhadi, from Muscat, Oman, filmed the unusual scene showing a thick green tide along the shoreline in daylight.
After dark, the same water lights up with blue bioluminescence, glowing with every movement caused by waves, footsteps, or jet skis.
The footage shows how the phenomenon changes depending on conditions, with local winds sometimes pushing the glowing water away for days before it returns alongside the green tide.
