Amadou Oury Bah re-appointed prime minister under Guinea's new government

Guinea's newly elected president, former junta leader Mamady Doumbouya, has appointed a prime minister to the west African country's government less than two weeks after being sworn in.

00:00Guinea's new president, Mahmadi Dumbuya, has appointed a prime minister less than two weeks after being sworn in.
00:07Amadou Uri Ba served as prime minister for almost two years under the country's military junta.
00:14He and his cabinet submitted their resignation last week following Dumbuya's inauguration.
00:20Uri is now back in the same role under the new government, according to a decree read on national television on Monday evening.
00:28Dumbuya was elected to a seven-year term in December, four years after toppling Guinea's first freely elected president, Alpha Conde.
00:38Dumbuya had initially vowed not to run for president after seizing power, but in September voters approved a new constitution in a referendum that allowed junta members to stand for office.
00:51In the same decree, Dumbuya announced that the government will include 27 ministries and two secretaries general.
