00:00Did you know that you can make some of your favorite burger sauces, both low-calorie and high-protein?
00:03And all you have to do is swap out just a few ingredients.
00:06Now a big thing that makes this a low-calorie sauce is we're actually going to use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
00:09And I like to use tomato paste instead of ketchup, that way I can control the sweetness.
00:12And we're going to use about one and a half tablespoons of both the tomato paste and yellow mustard.
00:16Now all the dry seasonings are going to stay the same as my normal recipe,
00:18so I'm going to put all those down below for you like always.
00:20Now one other important swap we're going to make is we're going to use this Lakanto monk fruit sugar substitute.
00:24It's much better than using regular sugar when you're trying to cut out some calories.
00:26And after we add a little bit of salt, we're going to add some apple cider vinegar and a little bit of avocado oil so we can get that perfect consistency.
00:32And if it's a little too thick for your liking, you can thin it out with just a little bit of water.
00:35And now we're all set to get this transferred over to a deli container,
00:38then we're going to get it covered up and pop it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
00:40And that's going to give us plenty of time to crank out a few of my perfectly cooked smash patties.
00:44And I post videos all the time with tips on how to seriously level up your burger game,

00:49Now because I'm testing out some brand new burger sauces, we're going to keep it very simple.
00:52I'm just going to use a steamed potato bun, a little bit of diced onion,
00:55and the only other topping is going to be the burger sauce.
00:59That's so good.
01:00I definitely noticed that a lot of those spices come through a little bit stronger,
01:02just because we lose all that richness from the mayo.
01:04But you get all that extra tang from using the yogurt,
01:06and it actually makes it taste like an entirely new burger sauce.
01:09Definitely worth making.
