In fact, if you look through the scriptures, you’ll find that the image of the troubled sea is one which is used in a number of passages in the scriptures, often speaking of storms, of trouble. Generally, in the Bible, the sea which the prophets were concerned with was the Mediterranean Sea. So, it’s talking about events taking place around that area of the Mediterranean Sea, particularly bordering on the eastern part of the Mediterranean, which is where Eretz Israel is. But also, you find that the sea is a symbol in the Bible of troubled humanity, humanity in rebellion against God.

00:00:00this month in prophecy so we're looking from the point of view of the bible from the point of view
00:00:06that we're living i believe in the last days before jesus returns and certain events are
00:00:12taking place in the world especially in the middle east which have a bearing upon the prophecies of
00:00:17the bible so let's have a word of prayer as we come to the scripture and this talk lord we thank
00:00:23you that we do have your word we thank you that it's truth thank you that no matter how dark the
00:00:28world is outside the light of jesus is shining brightly and no matter how much absence of
00:00:35peace there is in the world there's peace to those who believe in you so i pray that you bless and
00:00:40guide me as i speak on this subject now tonight in the name of jesus the messiah amen i read a
00:00:48couple of scriptures one from the book of isaiah chapter 57 isaiah 57 just three verses from
00:00:55verse 19 through to verse 21 the lord says i create the fruit of the lips peace peace to him
00:01:03who is far off and to him who is near says the lord and i will heal him but the wicked are like a
00:01:10troubled sea when it cannot rest whose waters cast up mire and dirt there is no peace says my god for
00:01:18the wicked and in the gospel of john jesus speaking in chapter 16 and verse 33 says these things i have
00:01:29spoken to you that in me you may have peace in the world you'll have tribulation but be of good cheer
00:01:35i have overcome the world there's a principle behind both of those verses which is that god is offering
00:01:42peace to those who are his well there's actually no peace to the wicked and in the present age you may
00:01:50find that believers find themselves in positions or situations of trouble but even in the worst
00:01:57situation of trouble you can still have peace of mind and spirit if you're in the lord and although
00:02:04the bible doesn't promise us in this age that there'll be world peace it does promise that there's an age
00:02:10coming when the lord will return following what is known as the day of the lord according to isaiah
00:02:17and the second coming of jesus according to the new testament when the lord will come and there'll be
00:02:22peace and justice on the earth and the earth will be full of the knowledge of the glory of the lord
00:02:26they'll beat their swords into plowshares and spears into printing hooks and their nuclear bombs and
00:02:31all the other rubbish which they make and there'll be peace and justice on the earth
00:02:35before that time the bible says there'll be a time of trouble and unfortunately that's the bad news i can't
00:02:42get out of it and jesus never promised that she's going to bring peace in this age sometimes you know
00:02:49you have christmas messages about jesus is coming to bring peace and goodwill to the earth yes he's coming
00:02:55to bring peace and goodwill to those who trust in him but he doesn't say he's going to bring peace to the earth in
00:03:00fact to one person he actually says he's going to bring war and trouble and division and that happens
00:03:06because people are for him or against him but if you're for him he's promising to give you peace
00:03:10and safety and there's going to be a division and the bible says there's going to be a time of trouble
00:03:17in the last days we know the famous passage in the book of revelation about the four horsemen of the
00:03:22apocalypse riding out bringing war and famine and mass death we have the war of gog and magog in the
00:03:29book of ezekiel and the war of armageddon again in revelation and in this passage we just read from
00:03:38his the from isaiah it says that the wicked are like a troubled sea troubled sea which cannot rest
00:03:45whose waters cast up mire and dirt interesting analogy there in fact if you look through the
00:03:51you'll find that the image of the troubled sea is one which is used in a number of passages in the
00:03:56scriptures often speaking of storms of trouble and in the book of in the book it's a symbol of
00:04:06literally the sea and generally in the bible the sea which the prophets were concerned with was the
00:04:14mediterranean sea so it's talking about events taking place around that area of the mediterranean sea
00:04:18particularly bordering on the eastern part of the mediterranean which is where eretz israel is
00:04:24but also you find that the sea is a symbol in the bible of troubled humanity humanity and rebellion
00:04:30against god in the book of daniel uh chapter seven he has a vision of four great beasts coming out of
00:04:38the sea it says i saw in my vision by night and behold the four winds of heaven were stirring up the
00:04:44great sea and four great beasts came up from the sea each different from the other uh the great sea
00:04:50there is he's speaking about the mediterranean sea and that something going to come out of that region
00:04:54uh four great beasts and the beasts are the empires which would oppress in some way and have
00:05:00some bearing upon israel babylon persia greece rome and yet they are coming out of the
00:05:07mediterranean sea they're coming out of a troubled sea as well and if you look in the book of revelation
00:05:15in the chapter 13 which deals with the coming of the antichrist or the the beast uh chapter 13 of
00:05:23revelation verse one it says then i stood on the sand of the sea and i saw a beast rising up out of the
00:05:28sea having seven heads and ten horns and on his horns ten crowns and on his head a blasphemous name
00:05:34now the beast which i saw was like a leopard his feet were like the feet of a bear his mouth like
00:05:40the mouth of a lion those images actually which come from the book of daniel and there's a connection
00:05:45between the passage from daniel chapter 7 and chapter 13 of revelation and that somehow this spirit of
00:05:50antichrist the spirit of the beast is going to come out of a troubled sea out of humanity in rebellion
00:05:56against god and it says the dragon gave him his power his throne and great authority so the ultimate
00:06:01source of this authority this anti-god anti-christ spirit is coming from one who's the dragon who is
00:06:07another uh interpreted in the bible as being the devil so you have a picture of a wall cooking place
00:06:14troubled sea uh something nasty coming out of it and yet also a promise that there's going to be peace to
00:06:21those who are in the lord and jesus had a word about the end times in luke chapter 21 where he said
00:06:28there'll be signs in the sun in the moon and in the stars and on the earth distress of nations with
00:06:31perplexity the sea and the waves roaring men's hearts fading them from fear and the expectation
00:06:37of those things which are coming on the earth for the powers of the heavens will be shaken
00:06:41then they will see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory and when all
00:06:46these things begin to happen look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws near
00:06:50so he speaks here about a number of phenomena signs in the sun the moon and the stars on the earth
00:06:59distress of nations with perplexity the sea and the waves roaring uh the sea and the waves roaring so
00:07:06we've got the same image of a tempestuous sea a storm at sea and the powers of the heavens being shaken
00:07:13and out of that there comes the son of man coming in a cloud of power of great glory which is the
00:07:19second coming of the messiah so you put all this together you've got pictures of a sea that waves
00:07:25roaring humanity and rebellion against god a time of unrest a time of lack of peace time of danger
00:07:32causing people to be afraid of what's coming on the earth and in the midst of that there's a promise
00:07:37of real peace to those who are in the lord so some of the things i say these talks are pretty disturbing
00:07:42and i get disturbed when i read these things and i sort of talk about them i think i shouldn't tell
00:07:47the people all this stuff but it's happening in the news and it's happening in the bible so you
00:07:52might as well put the two together and know that there is a way in which you can have peace as you
00:07:56hear these things because peace comes from a relationship which you have with god and the
00:08:01knowledge also that in the end our man wins because he's not our man he's god almighty in the person of
00:08:09the messiah the messiah and therefore the end is not disaster it's not world war and well it is there
00:08:16is a world war coming but there's not end of the world but the second coming of jesus is not the end
00:08:22of the world it's the end of the age and according to scripture if you take scripture literally which i
00:08:26do there will be a thousand year period in which the messiah will reign on the earth in peace and
00:08:31justice the prophecies of isaiah about the uh the coming of the lord and the the day of the lord
00:08:37will be fulfilled and other prophecies in the hebrew scriptures and the prophecy in the book
00:08:41of revelation which speaks about the lord reigning on the earth during the thousand year period which
00:08:47we call the millennium so when you see these things happening jesus said don't panic but lift up your
00:08:54heads look up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near it means jesus is coming
00:08:59so all the things i'm telling you tonight are actually signs that jesus is coming i'm not going to
00:09:05tell you how long it'll be before he comes i'm not going to give you the date but i'm telling you
00:09:09that there are certain things which have been set in motion which will reach their conclusion only with
00:09:13the second coming of the messiah one of the things in the passage which we read from luke's gospel it
00:09:18says there'll be the distress of nations with perplexity which will cause men's hearts to be
00:09:23failing them for fear the phrase which actually is used in greek for with perplexity is a
00:09:30peria which literally means with no way out in other words jesus is saying there's going to be a
00:09:35time of crisis on the earth which there's no way out of you're not going to solve it humanly and
00:09:41anyone who comes along and says they've got the solution is actually going to be a deceiver
00:09:43and it's going to lead you into a false peace and he'll be probably the antichrist the one who's
00:09:50going to bring real peace is going to be jesus will come on the clouds of heaven with power and great
00:09:54glory at his second coming so that's a brief brief down and jesus told us there'd be wars and rumors of
00:10:00wars in the last days there'd be nation against nation kingdom against kingdom and the revelation
00:10:05speaks about the four horsemen the apocalypse going out and so i'd say that we are on the way to those
00:10:11things happening but don't worry donald trump's going to sort it all out
00:10:17he put together his board of peace and now we're going to get into some of the things happening
00:10:24and there's been a lot happening in the last month it's been a very full month if you like
00:10:30trump spoke during his signing ceremony that his board of peace can do pretty much what we want it
00:10:37to do when it's completely formed he said you know on the eight wars that i ended i never spoke to
00:10:43united nations about any of them they tried i guess some of them but they didn't try hard enough
00:10:47the board of peace can be something very very unique for the world the first step towards a
00:10:52brighter day for the middle east and a much safer future for the world are unfolding right before your
00:10:57eyes the new body will end decades of suffering stop generations of hatred and bloodshed and forge a
00:11:04beautiful everlasting and glorious peace for that region and for the whole region of the world
00:11:08we're going to have peace in the world it's a pretty strong statement he says actually you're going to
00:11:14have a peace in that region that's the middle east it's going to be everlasting and we're going to
00:11:22have peace in the whole world well just a sort of small little thing he's going to solve the whole
00:11:29world problem and have peace and justice in the whole world yeah well he also spent a bit of time
00:11:37complaining actually about the fact that he hadn't been got the nobel peace prize
00:11:40after stopping eight wars and he said he said he might just stop supporting peace
00:11:46in fact he sent a letter to the prime minister of
00:11:49norway saying considering your country decided not to give me the nobel peace prize
00:11:54for having stopped eight wars plus i no longer feel an obligation to think purely of peace
00:11:59there will always be predominant but now you can think about what is good and proper now i can think
00:12:04about what is good and proper for the united states of america
00:12:07okay so he didn't get the nobel peace prize so he's not thinking all the time about peace now
00:12:12and there have been some interesting things happening
00:12:17he removed the venezuelan president maduro
00:12:21said that you us would be taking over the running of venezuela
00:12:25threatened to take greenland by force and put sanctions on european nations who oppose this
00:12:31then he backed down at davos saying it was a big beautiful piece of ice which he repeatedly called iceland
00:12:37and he made no but he had made a deal so he would not take it by force
00:12:42those are some of the things he said
00:12:47something you might laugh about this one i wouldn't laugh about
00:12:51he told the iranian patriots keep protesting take over your institutions
00:12:56save the names of the killers and they will pay a big price i've cancelled all meetings of
00:13:00officials in iran until the census killing of protesters stop
00:13:03help is on its way miga make iran great again
00:13:08president donald j trump
00:13:10so he told iranian demonstrators to keep on demonstrating that help is on its way
00:13:15and america is loaded for war with the regime if they don't stop killing the demonstrators
00:13:21unfortunately they have kept killing and no help has come so far
00:13:26he hasn't stopped the war in ukraine although he said he was going to do it
00:13:35day after his presidency he has meanwhile boosted the profile for the war criminal
00:13:41putin proposing a peace deal drawn up in moscow
00:13:45meanwhile putin continues to pour soldiers into the so-called meat grinder losing thousands of men
00:13:52to gain a few kilometers of territory in ukraine
00:13:54drones and missiles strike both sides
00:13:57with the infrastructure destroyed lives ruin as ukraine face the fourth year of putin's war
00:14:03russia too is in deep trouble because of neglect lack of manpower and diversion of resources to the war
00:14:10and ukrainian missiles hitting power and oil supplies
00:14:13its infrastructure and transport system is breaking down
00:14:16trucks and trains are stuck in freezing weather
00:14:20heating systems are down in the cities where temperatures plunge to minus 30 degrees
00:14:2440 percent of its economy is poured into the war
00:14:27leading to massive financial crisis
00:14:29which may be irreversible even if they do make peace
00:14:32he moved into venezuela to capture and remove president maduro
00:14:40there was a reason for his actions in venezuela because venezuela has been a conduct for
00:14:48drugs plus radical left-wing and islamist activity
00:14:53and the government of maduro is repressive illegal dictatorship
00:14:58and he says trump said that he's going to run venezuela until a safe and proper jurisdiction
00:15:06judicious transition can be ensured
00:15:09he had some right to take action against venezuela because it's damaging america and it's not a nasty regime
00:15:18unfortunately interfering in a sovereign nation and threatening to take of its economy could also be seen as a green light to
00:15:25people like putin and xi jinping to do the same thing in their parts of the world
00:15:30he also raised a constitutional issue within the us
00:15:35which is the president exceeding himself in authorizing war without congressional approval
00:15:41but let's look at iran because that's the big issue
00:15:46the latest report from iran is that around 30 000 people have been killed
00:15:51i know they've talked about 12 000 but one i got today was 30 000
00:15:56protests which took place in two days were cracked down in january
00:16:00if that estimate is correct the killings would be among the deadliest mass shootings
00:16:05in comparable time span in modern records drawing a comparison to the babi yar massacre in nazi occupied ukraine
00:16:12where around 33 000 jews were murdered over two days in september 1941
00:16:19same number killed in two days in iran if that correct is correct
00:16:24here's a report from israel today magazine as regional tensions rise and speculation grows over american military action
00:16:35iranian protesters are issuing a stark warning without outside intervention the protest movement inside iran
00:16:41will not merely fail it will be annihilated
00:16:43in a rare and risky move interview with channel 12 news two iranian citizens
00:16:48speaking from inside the country described the reality of fear
00:16:52exhaustion and systematic repression following the latest wave of nationwide protests
00:16:57their message was blunt the islamic regime has crushed open dissent and only decisive u.s action against the regime's
00:17:04coercive organs could create space for the iranians to rise again
00:17:11elie raza speaking from tehran described an economic and civic paralysis
00:17:15gripping the capital markets have collapsed daily life is heavily restricted internet access
00:17:21longer lifeline for coordination and documentation has been deliberately degraded
00:17:26societies in depression after the violent suppression continuing street protest is no longer possible
00:17:32our request is that trump should give us the help that he promised
00:17:37if he launches an attack against the revolutionary guards the basij and the army
00:17:41he'll give the people an opportunity to take to the streets and seize important government centers
00:17:46it's our last hope our last chance

00:17:56said the situation is grim number of people killed is very large names pictures morning notices they're everywhere in the city
00:18:03she describes streets that are empty as night falls heavy deployments of security forces
00:18:09an omnipresent web of checkpoints operated by the islamic revolutionary guards
00:18:13the police corps and the basij often reinforced by plainclose operatives
00:18:18they stop cars one by one they check phones
00:18:21they check people's bodies to see if they were hit by rubber bullets
00:18:25if they find marks they arrest them
00:18:27so they check if they were out in the streets and if they got arrested if they have marks on their bodies they'll arrest them
00:18:32i also heard they're actually going around hospitals and shooting people who are in hospital if they were wounded in the demonstrations
00:18:45according to sarah almost no one has no family has been spared there is no one around me who doesn't know someone a friend or relative who was killed
00:18:52people talk about constantly about who they lost
00:18:57it's a tragic and a horrible situation
00:18:59and at the moment
00:19:03i don't think there's going to be any intervention from
00:19:06trump or anybody else
00:19:08and there is a reason for that
00:19:12uh the iranian speaker man called muhammad
00:19:15ghalibaf warned that trump would be taught a lesson he would never be forgotten if he chooses the path of war
00:19:23since the end of the 12-day war the iranians have been feverishly built rebuilding their missile arsenal
00:19:27they have a new missile called the koram shah
00:19:32ballistic missile also known as the kaibar
00:19:36which packs packs a tremendous punch and has enough range to reach u.s military facilities in turkey
00:19:41parts of southeastern europe if launched from iran
00:19:45could also reach obviously israel and hit tel aviv and haifa
00:19:51it's called the kaibar kaibar actually is a reference to an early event which happened in the muslim conquest
00:19:55in which the muslims killed the jews in their first massacre of jews and they still say kaibar kaibar
00:20:02which is a shout of
00:20:04intention of killing the jews in the name of islam
00:20:10so arab states have also asked trump not to intervene because they're fearful that they will
00:20:16the iranians will sell fire missiles at their bases american bases in
00:20:20uh saudi arabia qatar and the uae
00:20:27and it could also lead to a major offensive in the whole gulf area which if it comes to the worst
00:20:33case could cause uh global energy crisis shutdown of the straits of humus through which large amounts
00:20:39of the upworth's oil flows which would then cause a economic recession worldwide so that's the possibility
00:20:47which could have happened had america gone in and that's why they haven't gone in
00:20:52and why these dictators can actually rely not just on their armed forces to kill the people who are
00:20:56against them but also against any kind of intervention because they know that if they
00:21:01launch their missiles they can cause massive trouble to anybody else
00:21:06why of course they wanted the nuclear bomb as well and they're still working on that project
00:21:10so it looks like they're going to do back down uh america will back down although he said helps on its
00:21:18way i don't think anything's going to happen from the west and the regime will probably survive
00:21:24weakened with ever less legitimacy and support from the people the fundamental economic problems will
00:21:30remain the water situation which is dire they talked even about evacuating tehran because all the
00:21:37waters run out there's been a drought and because of chronic mismanagement of the infrastructure the
00:21:43regime has left the people with no water uh has rained a bit but they need torrential rain and snow falling
00:21:51in the mountains if they're going to survive another year because if they don't then probably the future
00:21:57of tehran is is over they'll have to move the whole city and they can't do that so you've got massive
00:22:03problems in fact whoever runs up running the country they have these huge problems
00:22:11and you have a situation which has some prophetic significance because persia iran is mentioned in
00:22:18the bible says in ezekiel 38 it's going to be one of the countries to come against israel in the last
00:22:23days in the war of gog and magog there's also a prophecy in the book of jeremiah concerning elam
00:22:29elam is a ancient word for the western part of persia
00:22:38and if you go to ezekiel uh jeremiah chapter 49 49 verse 34 the word of the lord came to jeremiah
00:22:49the prophet against elam in the beginning of the reign of zedekiah king of judah saying thus says the
00:22:57lord of hosts behold i will break the bow of elam the foremost of their might against elam i will
00:23:02bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven and scatter them towards all those winds
00:23:08there'll be no nations where the outcasts of elam will not go i will cause elam to be dismayed before
00:23:13their enemies before those who seek their life life i will bring disaster upon them my fierce anger says the
00:23:20lord i will send the sword after them till i have consumed them i will set my throne in elam and will
00:23:26destroy them from there the king and the princess says the lord but it shall come to pass in the
00:23:32latter days i'll bring back the captives of elam says the lord to a prophecy there about the end times
00:23:38which says speaks about some disaster coming upon the land of elam which is again the land of persia or
00:23:44iran speaks about their bow being broken and i wonder if that has something to do with destroying
00:23:51their missiles i don't know it also speaks about having anger against their leaders against their
00:23:58king and their princes destroy them their king and their princes i think god is more than angry with
00:24:03the government of iran the islamic government and it says you're going to bring them down and destroy
00:24:08them also says you're going to set up his throne in elam and bring them back which implies there'll be
00:24:17some kind of recovery i don't know if you know but in the present time the one of the fastest growing
00:24:24churches in the islamic world certainly in the islamic world is in the land of iran
00:24:29not churches meeting like this because they have to be underground churches and there has been some
00:24:35estimates a million or more people turn from islam to believing in jesus in the land of iran
00:24:41most of the young people in iran are totally sick of islam and want nothing to do with it
00:24:46not all turning to christ some of them turning to drugs and all kinds of harmful things but there is
00:24:50a movement in iran which has tools many people to come to faith in jesus and even here in north london
00:24:56we have an iranian christian fellowship we have iranians come to this fellowship and we have a number
00:25:01of people from iran who come to faith in jesus the messiah so there is a positive side there
00:25:11but there's also this terrible situation right now which we need to pray for
00:25:18one little question which i'd like to ask is
00:25:22where were the demonstrations against the islamic regime
00:25:25where were all the lefties and the islamists on the street trying trying free free iran
00:25:34saying from the gulf to the caspian sea peshersha will be free where were they
00:25:40nowhere where were all the corbian and the lefties and the islamists screaming murder to israel and death
00:25:47to the idf were they out there no and i'll tell you why
00:25:56the people against israel and all these demonstrations are what we call the red green alliance
00:26:02made up of the far left and the islamists
00:26:08they campaign on various issues selective issues not on all issues
00:26:12the campaign on any issues which is against the interests of the west the interest of israel
00:26:20and against christianity
00:26:23those are the things which they're going to campaign against
00:26:26and i have to say that both the far left and the islamists are anti-christ
00:26:30i know because i came out of the far left side before i became a christian
00:26:36and having become a christian from being involved in that kind of activity having met my first wife nikki
00:26:41uh who's gone to be with the lord now outside the us embassy when she was giving out
00:26:45jesus about jesus and i was with the lefties demonstrating against the vietnam war
00:26:52and then we used to go out and preach the gospel to them
00:26:55and we discovered that there was a spirit of antichrist which is working there
00:26:59powerfully interestingly it was also in those days which is in the 70s we had contact with the
00:27:05iranians because um during that time this was before the iranian revolution at the time of the shah
00:27:13there were loads of iranian students who came over to study at london university
00:27:18and it turned out that most of them ended up in the far left they were communists
00:27:23and we got these gospels of of mark in persian and in english with a picture of the azari tower which
00:27:31is in tehran on the front we used to hold them up we used to give out hundreds of them and
00:27:38we noticed that there's this kind of islamic thing and the communist thing
00:27:43and i found out that in the build up to the revolution in iran there were two forces working
00:27:48there the communists and the islamists both against the shah in fact there's a bible teacher
00:27:55called roger price who's going to be with the lord now but i got a lot of his tapes and he gave a tape
00:28:00a talk saying that iran will go communist then link up with the soviet union and they will come
00:28:05down together in the war of gog and magog against israel well roger got that one wrong
00:28:11but there was the revolution and it was the joining of the communists and the islamists came together
00:28:20once they made the revolution the islamists came out on top
00:28:23and the communists were smashed they were under their feet and that was what happened all these
00:28:27lefties who go around the street shouting for hamas and for all that if they ever got their way
00:28:35they'd be among the first people to have the shop because islam doesn't tolerate them at all
00:28:41but they were happy to use them in their their battle for the the supremacy and that's what's
00:28:46behind this whole anti-israel thing which is taking place here
00:28:49why they want to globalize the intifada and they're not on the side of the people they're
00:28:57not on the side of peace they're not on the side of human rights they're on the side actually in the
00:29:01end of creating despotic regimes whether islamist or communist they end up with the same kind of
00:29:09despotic anti-god anti-christ regime which oppresses the people and causes huge suffering
00:29:16and they're all against israel because israel stands actually as a democratic state and as also a
00:29:24state which has connected to god because it has the name israel in it and they maybe they don't know
00:29:31but they have some idea that there's something to do with god and the jewish people and israel and
00:29:36they're against god and against the jewish people so they're against this
00:29:40so be careful when you see these people they're not on the good side and christians and jews who
00:29:48understand this should unite in their goals and stand for israel and stand also for christians who
00:29:55are persecuted under islam and all the liberal lovers who support hamas and protest against israel
00:30:01should start asking the questions about exactly where they're going to and where they're coming from
00:30:06and finally we should pray for iran and pray for its people and pray for the overthrow of this
00:30:13i believe satanic regime which is now in power there but recognize also that the bible does have
00:30:18some things to say about this which may mean that it may not go quickly or easily
00:30:25okay let's move on to another subject the war and peace in the middle east
00:30:29uh now as i said president trump has announced the establishment of his board of peace
00:30:36that will govern the guards strip he said it's my great honor to announce that the board of peace has
00:30:42been formed the members of the board will be announced shortly but i can say with certainty
00:30:46that it is the greatest and most prodigious board ever assembled at any time any place
00:30:52doesn't go for modesty and whatever but that's what it is
00:30:56he said also we've officially entered the next phase of gaza's 20-point peace plan
00:31:02as chairman of the board of peace i'm backing a newly appointed palestinian technocratic government
00:31:08these palestinian leaders are unwaveringly committed to a peaceful future
00:31:12with the support of egypt turkey and qatar we will secure a comprehensive demilitarization
00:31:18agreement with hamas including the surrender of all weapons and dismantling of every tunnel
00:31:24the new body will seek to end decades of suffering stop generations of hatred and bloodshed
00:31:30forward your beautiful everlasting and glorious peace for that region and for the whole region
00:31:34of the world we're going to have peace in the world the president declared
00:31:40so he brought this to the recent conference at davos where you have davos where you have all the
00:31:46world's leaders meeting
00:31:48and trump's son-in-law jared kushner presented the plan for gaza in a sideshow with images of mock-ups
00:31:57showing new promenades apartment towers in a glittering city on the sea including a new seaport
00:32:03and an airport for gaza he said there's no plan b and in the middle east they beat build cities like this
00:32:11for two or three million people in three years and it showed this picture i've got a picture of it
00:32:16i should have brought it on these slides but it showed a picture of this modernistic buildings
00:32:20all by the seaside and this glorious future for gaza in which there's going to be this peace and plenty
00:32:26and everything's going to be sorted by this board of peace
00:32:32that's all on paper but it's not in happening in reality
00:32:35in reality the people of gaza are living in tents in desperate conditions of rain
00:32:40and cold with no relief in sight hamas is refusing to disarm
00:32:45israel is opposed to turkey and qatar playing a role in the disarmament process
00:32:53because they've shown consistent support of hamas and their program is to destroy israel
00:32:58so part of this program is that qatar and turkey will be part of the peace
00:33:02group working in iran and working in israel uh in gaza uh turkey's actually promised to send 3 000
00:33:11troops to gaza to uh bring what they call the international stabilization force which will bring
00:33:17peace to the region that's a bit like the fox looking after the chicken run because those people
00:33:25they're against israel and therefore hamas so you're going to send them in as peacekeepers
00:33:30to disarm hamas and to stop them from ever trying to build up their weapons to fire against israel
00:33:41i don't think it's going to work
00:33:45also hamas is working to get its way into what they call the palestinian technocratic government
00:33:51to ensure that its interests will be represented in the new gaza administration part of the deal was
00:33:56that hamas would not be part of the government but they're sort of already working their way in so
00:34:01that uh whenever this government is chosen hamas will have a part in it maybe just change their
00:34:07names they won't call themselves hamas but it'll be the same people with the same agenda
00:34:15so we have this setup have a ceasefire which is just about holding but there's actually no progress on
00:34:22the ground or to rebuilding and the proposed international stabilization force is really
00:34:28nowhere in sight at the present time now i'm not saying it can't work it maybe it can
00:34:35but at the moment it's all theory and not reality
00:34:40now it's interesting there are certain prophetic concerns about this border peace
00:34:44because one thing which trump has said was that if it works uh it could spread out to other things as
00:34:52we succeed in gaza in other words it's not going to be just about gaza it's going to be more about a world
00:34:58organization working for world peace does that sound sort of relevant to you
00:35:05gaza could just be the start of the beginning of a worldwide organization working for world peace
00:35:09so the border peace will have a much bigger remit than just sorting out israel and gaza
00:35:16becoming kind of parallel un structure backed by globalist forces and aiming to become a kind of
00:35:22world government body working for world peace
00:35:29at the davos conference trump said to 50 leaders of the countries who committed to join
00:35:37you're the most powerful people in the world
00:35:41he spoke to representatives from 19 countries present including qatar
00:35:46uae turkey saudi arabia jordan bahrain morocco azerbaijan indonesia
00:35:52hungary and argentina there was no israeli representative at the ceremony
00:35:59actually no one from the palestinian authority either
00:36:02somewhat bizarrely on the 20th of january news came through that vladimir putin and belarus
00:36:10dictator lukashenko had been invited to join the board of peace vladimir putin as i'm concerned he's
00:36:18a war criminal lukashenko is europe's last dictator so because of this a number of western nations are
00:36:29actually pulling out of it including our own country and france and i think canada and others
00:36:33have said they're not going to join if putin joins for sure which is the right thing to do
00:36:39you can't have a board of peace with somebody like vladimir putin on it makes no sense
00:36:46and it could end up as a kind of power structure was going to give power to autocrats and dictators
00:36:51and warmongers like putin also there are concerns about where it's going what's the end game
00:36:57article in the daily telegraph said british officials warned that bernald trump's peace
00:37:02board for gaza risked concentrating unprecedented power in the president's hand and rendering the
00:37:07un irrelevant whitehall is understood to be stunned by how quickly the board of peace concept has
00:37:13morphed from a committee to oversee reconstruction in gaza into an organization that rivals the un
00:37:19with a remit for world peace not just peace in gaza what started as a means to keep the us committed
00:37:26to peace in gaza has turned into a monster one british official told the telegraph the board's
00:37:33charter names mr trump as the chairman rather than the u.s president's office so it's not linked to
00:37:38the u.s president is now linked personally to donald trump and it gives him unlimited power to veto any
00:37:46decision agreed upon by its members also says that trump will be able to nominate his successor
00:37:52also demanding a one billion payment for permanent membership
00:38:01this means that trump's uh involvement with this is not contingent on him remaining as the u.s president
00:38:08if he has the power to name his successor then he can name one of his buddies maybe someone from his own
00:38:14family maybe jared kushner who's already involved in the program and he can pass on his power to
00:38:22somebody else now prophecy newswatch which is a prophecy website writes about this
00:38:31and also they're possibly including some of the globalist institutions like the world economic forum
00:38:36the world bank the imf and other organizations involved in this board of power so these institutions
00:38:44possess extraordinary influence but govern no land command no armies and answer to no electorate
00:38:50these are leaders who not wear crowns yet their decisions shape economies determine development
00:38:54paths and exert leverage over sovereign governments they're in every meaningful sense kings without
00:39:00kingdoms this is where the board of peace could take on a distinctively new character presence of
00:39:07multinational institutional leaders would fundamentally transform the board from a gathering of national
00:39:11representatives into a technocratic ruling council these figures do not negotiate treaties on behalf of
00:39:18citizens they set conditions control capital flows and define the rules by which nations must operate
00:39:24to receive aid investment and legitimacy in other words if you work that through they're working as a world
00:39:31government if you want help from us you've got to do what we tell you you don't have any democratic
00:39:37rights in this you can't vote us in you can't vote us out you do what we tell us
00:39:41uh goes on to say their inclusion signals a model of peace not rooted in reconciliation between peoples but in
00:39:49compliance with global systems reconstruction funds security cooperation governance frameworks and even
00:39:56leadership legitimacy could all be conditioned on adherence to its standards defined by unelected global
00:40:02authorities and this model peace is no longer simply brokered it is managed enforced through economic
00:40:08incentives and institutional pressure now it's interesting whether this is actually going to
00:40:15continue as an independent body or actually end up being merged with the un is another debated question
00:40:20because they have already submitted this whole program to the un but if you get the picture you can
00:40:24see there's a coming together of global powers in the interest of making peace and not just making peace but
00:40:31enforcing peace so they'll have power to say that you take this you have to take this and you have to
00:40:38take what we say in other words it can end up with some kind of a world government process
00:40:45coming back to the bible the bible describes a future period in which authority is concentrated not
00:40:49in traditional kingdoms but in a limited number number of powerful figures who operate beyond national

00:41:31go to revelation 17 verse 12 says the 10 horns which you saw are 10 kings who have received no
00:41:38kingdom as yet but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast these were one mind they
00:41:43will give their power and authority to the beast these will make war with the lamb and the lamb will overcome
00:41:47them for he is lord of lords and king of kings and those who are with him are called chosen and faithful
00:41:55so this passage in revelation saying that at the end of days you're going to have some kind of
00:41:58committee structure which will have 10 kings in it and which will then give its power
00:42:03to the one who is the beast or the antichrist
00:42:07now i'm not telling you that this is it
00:42:09but it looks a little bit like it and you can see that there are things being set up
00:42:15which could be moving just in that direction and the fact that its central
00:42:21issue which is dealing with is Eretz Israel Yerushalayim and the whole middle eastern conundrum
00:42:30is more than coincidence because that's where the bible says the last days battle is going to be
00:42:34so suppose 10 kings emerge from and the all-powerful ones as the all-powerful ones in this committee
00:42:44they then give their power to one powerful charismatic leader who appears to have the
00:42:48answer to the world's problems even the world's economic problems we haven't time to go into but
00:42:53that's another issue which is certainly going to rise up in the coming days as the clash of
00:42:59economies in the world and economies which are all actually on the brink of bankruptcy
00:43:05there's going to be some kind of shift in that area somebody comes up and offers a solution to it
00:43:10coming out of this committee or some other parallel committee and then imposes that solution on the
00:43:15world you've got the lineup for revelation 13 and the end of day scenario
00:43:22and it won't be peace it'll end up with war and disaster and lead to amageddon and the return of the
00:43:26messiah who will then set up real peace ruling from restored jerusalem and the millennial temple
00:43:31and donald trump won't mediate that peace but the prince of peace yeshua the messiah will because
00:43:40he is king of kings and lord of lords and will have all power so when you see these things beginning
00:43:44to happen and they are beginning to happen i believe don't panic look up lift up your heads
00:43:48because your redemption draws near it's a sign of the second coming of the messiah
00:43:52okay let's move on to one or two other things before we close

00:44:26view in world watch list which is a list of the top 50 countries which persecute christians
00:44:34uh in this they say that 388 million christians worldwide now live under high levels of persecution
00:44:41and discrimination for their faith one in seven believers across the globe and the highest number
00:44:47ever recorded behind that staggering figure are stories of churches burned families displaced
00:44:53believers surveyed imprisoned beaten or killed or often simply for gathering to pray
00:44:58open door ceo round brand described the trend as both expanding and intensifying persecution not
00:45:06only spreading it to new regions but growing more severe where it already exists sub-saharan
00:45:12africa remains a major flashpoint counting for the majority of faith-related killings worldwide

00:47:55christians are often accused of betraying national identity
00:47:58pastors are arrested for forced conversions simply for cheering their faith

00:48:09other words violent attacks on christians to squeeze persecution where governments quietly restrict
00:48:15worship through surveillance through censorship and legal pressure china exemplifies this trend where
00:48:23churches are shuttered bible taps are banned and online christian persecution is tightly controlled
00:48:30and also what you preach is controlled so if they come into your church and they don't like what you preach
00:48:35you can be arrested
00:48:38you also have a war on the christianity in the west coming primarily from what i've already described
00:48:44actually the woke far left cultural marxists in alliance with the islamist forces
00:48:49and a lot of the liberal church is actually submitting to this rather than resisting these forces
00:48:55i won't go into all the details in fact if you're here last week you may have heard tim deyep and i
00:48:59recommend you look at this on our website listen to what tim deyep said about things happening in this country
00:49:05which are promoting an anti-christ agenda and an anti-family agenda and all kinds of things which are totally
00:49:11against what the bible teaches
00:49:16so you're going to attack on christianity now i don't want to depress you but this happening
00:49:20you need to know about it and we need to know that it's happening here as well uh prophecy newswatcher actually
00:49:27wrote an article which spoke about some of the problems facing the church it's actually
00:49:31describing what's happening in america but a lot of it applies to us here as well i just read three things
00:49:35which they said first of all the erosion of biblical authority even within the church itself
00:49:43one of the most troubling developments of 2025 was not open hostility to scripture but
00:49:47quiet reclassification the bible was increasingly treated as inspirational rather than authoritative
00:49:54valuable for encouragement but negotiable when it conflicted with cultural norms
00:49:59otherwise when the bible says something which the world outside is not saying then you've got to
00:50:03submit to what the bible the world says not what the bible says sermons avoided entire categories of
00:50:09teaching judgment secular ethics repentance exclusivity of christ in other words one way to god through
00:50:15jesus christ churches will be pressured to explain why they still believe certain passages apply at all
00:50:22particularly you could think of romans chapter one which speaks about homosexuality being
00:50:26practice being an offense to god and contrary to god's will why is that passage in the bible in fact some
00:50:31churches have said you should delete such passages from the bible you shouldn't be there
00:50:36well you can't delete anything from the bible it's god's word
00:50:41and this passage says a church that loses confidence in scripture
00:50:46will not be silenced by force it will silence itself once they start throwing out the bible
00:50:51it's got nothing to say and it might as well close down
00:50:56second thing they say is government monitoring surveillance and redefination of acceptable faith
00:51:00in 2025 western governments increasingly expanded digital monitoring under banners of safety
00:51:09misinformation control and extremism prevention financial transactions online speech and organizational
00:51:15activity became easier to track analyze and flag while churches are rarely targeted directly the framework was
00:51:22built beliefs on marriage gender and life were increasingly categorized as potentially harmful
00:51:27placing biblical conviction closer to regulatory concern
00:51:32surveillance does not begin with punishment it begins with behavior
00:51:36in 2026 churches may face scrutiny not for criminal behavior but for ideological alignment
00:51:44banking access charitable status platform visibility even insurance coverage could become contingent on
00:51:49compliance greatest danger is not persecution it's preemptive obedience born of fear
00:51:54when the state begins to define what beliefs are acceptable faith becomes conditional on
00:51:59obedience to the state christian beliefs on sex and marriage in particular are under stress
00:52:05don't know if you understand that what they mean is that there are certain things
00:52:08voices you shouldn't go to if you're a preacher you shouldn't say that homosexuality is wrong you
00:52:14shouldn't say that sex outside of marriage is wrong you shouldn't say it's wrong to kill babies in the womb
00:52:18all those things which we do say from the bible and there's going to be a gradual censorship and
00:52:24say if you say that you might be harming somebody who comes in so somebody comes in tonight
00:52:28hears me saying this thing and they're homosexual they might say well he's brought he's offended me
00:52:33and therefore he shouldn't be allowed to say these things
00:52:36as you see this offense culture is coming in you can see how it's going to begin
00:52:40to censor and to prevent what people can say from the church
00:52:48and he goes on number three i'll just read this other one doctrinal compromise disguised as love
00:52:54and progress

00:53:04churches hosted drag themed christmas celebrations
00:53:08others removed reference to sin or repentance from liturgy entirely
00:53:12some openly rejected biblical teaching on sexuality hell or salvation while still calling themselves
00:53:18christian these challenges were not presented as rebellion but as moral growth dissent was tabled harm
00:53:25faithfulness was reframed as exclusion doctrine was not debated it was replaced
00:53:322026 this trend will sharpen churches that hold historic christian teaching will
00:53:36increasingly be portrayed as unsafe spaces pastors will be pressured to affirm what scripture forbids
00:53:42or risk public risk public public backlash and institutional compromise consequences can you work
00:53:49out what that's saying so you've got to conform to what the world is saying especially in areas of sexual
00:53:55morality and behavior uh and if you don't do that then you won't be a safe space anymore
00:54:01and we can come in and censor you can you see that happening
00:54:06yeah and that's the world we're living in that's why you know they won't come in here and start
00:54:12dragging us off to concentration camps yet
00:54:17but they can come in and start saying you can't say certain things
00:54:21you might even say you can't say certain things about israel i don't know but there are certain
00:54:25things you mustn't go there and so you just you inhibit what the preacher can say
00:54:30it's a subtle form of persecution which is coming in
00:54:34and also it's going to come in with islam as well because you mustn't say that islam
00:54:38is wrong you mustn't say that muhammad is a false prophet which he is and you mustn't criticize
00:54:43the quran and you've got to submit to their agenda and that's what's happening more and more
00:54:50and you have this growing thing where you have the islamophobia
00:54:56and meanwhile muslim brotherhood kind of brings out entry using entryism they're entering into
00:55:02various institutions especially into our educational institutions
00:55:06qatar spends billions of funds giving to universities and
00:55:10uh education and media outlets having print the money and then they use that to
00:55:17put islamic views into those places and to suppress anyone who says things against islam
00:55:23the government wants to bring in this islamophobia law so that you mustn't criticize
00:55:28islam or we mustn't criticize islamic people now get it right we don't hate muslims
00:55:34we love muslims when they come to faith in jesus but that doesn't mean we have to love
00:55:38islam doesn't mean we have to submit to muhammad because muhammad was a false prophet
00:55:45the quran is a book which is not inspired by god it's full of errors
00:55:52main error is it teaches that jesus was just a prophet he didn't die on the cross and he didn't
00:55:56rise from the dead so it rips out the very heart of the gospel so it has the spirit of antichrist behind
00:56:02it now if we can't say that that is the spirit of antichrist then we're actually inhibited in what we
00:56:07can say concerning the gospel so you can see this is going to become a movement against christianity
00:56:16apparently there's going to be a march for jesus through white chapel the end of this month it's
00:56:20been banned by the police because it would be offensive to the muslims now it may be that the
00:56:25people who organized it actually were doing it with the idea of challenging islam i think that's a
00:56:31possibility so i wouldn't totally sort of get on my high horse about that one but it's just a sign
00:56:38fact that we mustn't offend muslims and a submission to islam what happened with the tel aviv football
00:56:47match in birmingham and they banned the israeli people coming here because it was going to upset
00:56:52the muslim community and they gave a false reason that the tel aviv people hooligans but that wasn't the
00:56:57case it wasn't a case at all but because they consulted with the uh one of the big islamic
00:57:02mosques i think it's called the uh green road or green something mosque in birmingham and they told
00:57:08them that if they israelis come here there's going to be outrage from the local community and we're
00:57:12going to stop them coming so you have to submit to the muslims on these things and increasingly
00:57:16you're finding that this submission to the islamic agenda is going to be part of the world in which
00:57:23we're living in and the more that we submit to this agenda more it actually will risk being dominated
00:57:35by islamic forces whose ultimate goal is the subjugation of what they call the da'al hab which
00:57:40means the abode of the enemy or the abode of war into the da'al islam which means the abode of islam
00:57:46the abode of islam either by infiltration or force which means ultimately they want to control
00:57:53not just the parts of the world which are now islamic but also the parts which are not including
00:57:58ours high birth rate proselytizing of islam suppression of christianity that's part of the agenda
00:58:06in which case we would then have to submit to the religion of peace
00:58:10but not peace which brings me back to my concluding point where do you find peace
00:58:19midst of all these things which i've said tonight many of which are disturbing and which would
00:58:24make you feel a lack of peace what do we have to do we have to look to jesus
00:58:30he is our peace he's our reconciliation and he's going to have the last word he's the one who's going
00:58:35to bring peace to the world real peace but now he comes to bring peace to our hearts book of isaiah
00:58:4153 it says about the chastisement of our peace was upon him otherwise the thing which rob us of peace
00:58:47were placed upon jesus when he died on the cross so all those who believe in him have peace through the
00:58:52blood of the cross you have peace through believing that jesus died for our sins that he shed his blood
00:58:58in order to redeem us and that having been redeemed and believed on the lord jesus christ then nothing can
00:59:03separate us from the love of god which is in christ jesus our lord and i believe that everyone who
00:59:07is truly saved has eternal salvation and that they have an eternal life and if you have that assurance
00:59:15within you you have peace with god and nothing can separate you from that peace you may go through bad
00:59:22situations all of us in the natural world in the natural even without things i've been talking about
00:59:28have certain things happen in our lives which are not too good and which we wouldn't rather didn't
00:59:33happen but if we have that assurance in god then we can know that he is with us and he can give us
00:59:38his peace i know the time when i was in hospital actually 15 years ago when i had bowel cancer and i was
00:59:48pretty well i thought maybe on the way up actually a really bad time i was in there for about a month
00:59:53but during that time i felt the presence of the lord more than i felt at any other time in my life
00:59:57because he's with me and he's with us when we go through bad times think of richard vermbraat great

01:00:10described in his book torture for christ how he used to dance for joy because the presence of the
01:00:14lord in his cell even as he was facing persecution and suffering for the lord the lord says i'm going to
01:00:22leave you i'm never going to leave you or forsake you it says in the world you have tribulation but
01:00:25be of good cheer i have overcome the world and finally in romans chapter 5 it says therefore having
01:00:32been justified with paid by faith we have peace with god through our lord jesus christ through whom
01:00:38we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of god
01:00:45we're justified by faith we don't earn our salvation by doing good works we earn ourselves we receive
01:00:51our salvation by repentance and faith in jesus christ who died for our sins on the cross having
01:00:57received that faith we then have peace with god because we know that the ultimate issue is now settled
01:01:07i guess for every person on the earth the worst thing which can happen to you is that you die
01:01:10people spend their time trying to stop themselves from from dying if you're a believer in jesus
01:01:18it's not actually the worst thing which can happen to you because actually if you die
01:01:22you are liberated from this body of death and you go to be with the lord and you have eternal life
01:01:26in his presence but also we have access by faith we have access to god if you have faith in jesus
01:01:34you have access to god you can call on the name of the lord and know that he will save you
01:01:38you can pray to him you can bring your concerns to him you can cast your cares upon him you can know
01:01:45that he's there and that he cares for you and that he loves you so we have an advocate with the father
01:01:50that's jesus christ he stands up for us he gives he's our defense counselor if you like
01:01:57and he looks at our sins and as we repent he says those are forgiven they're out of the way i took the
01:02:03punishment for those sins i've forgotten them they're past you don't have to dwell on them
01:02:07but you have to look to me and believe in me and know that you have eternal life through faith in me
01:02:12we have access to god through jesus christ and we can rejoice in the hope of the glory of god
01:02:19goes on to speak about rejoicing even in tribulations and knowing that we have hope in the lord
01:02:27and he says in verse 8 god demonstrates his unlove to us in that while they were still sinners
01:02:31christ died for us much more having now been justified by his blood we should be saved from
01:02:38wrath through him if when we were enemies we were reconciled to god through the death of his son
01:02:43much more having been reconciled we should be saved by his life
01:02:48not only that we rejoice in god through our lord jesus christ through whom we have now received the
01:02:51reconciliation for he himself is our peace who has made both one and has broken down the middle wall of
01:02:58separation having abolished in his flesh the enmity that is the law of commandments
01:03:02contained in ordinances serves great in himself one new man from the two thus making peace
01:03:10so through jesus christ yeshua hamashiach we can have peace with god sins are forgiven the old man
01:03:18is under the blood of jesus and the new man or woman is received through the holy spirit through
01:03:25knife in jesus and that's the life which gives to us not because we've earned it not because we've been
01:03:30good enough but because we've recognized that we're not good enough we've asked jesus to forgive
01:03:35our sins and to come into our life and give us peace with god the world today is under the wrath of god
01:03:41all those things i've talked about in the first half of this talk are bringing the wrath of god upon the
01:03:45ungodly there is no peace for the wicked but there is peace to those who call on the name of jesus
01:03:51so believe on the lord jesus christ and you shall be saved amen let's just have a word of prayer
01:03:58lord we do thank you that you are our peace that nothing can separate us from the love of god
01:04:02which is in jesus christ pray that you give us that peace through faith in jesus
01:04:07and we pray you help us to be peacemakers in this troubled world and as we see all the
01:04:13terrible things which are happening in our world we pray that you will restrain the forces of evil
01:04:18that you'll send out the light through the gospel that you'll save souls we pray particularly for
01:04:24the people of iran who are struggling with this foul and evil regime we pray that you help those who are
01:04:31wounded those who are bereaved those who are suffering those who are despairing because of the
01:04:36situation they're in just help them lord to see the light in jesus the messiah and we do pray that
01:04:43you'll bring down the wicked we pray that you'll convict the regime of its sin and of the judgment
01:04:50that awaits it unless they repent and we pray that they will turn from their wicked ways and that many
01:04:55will see the light before they die in jesus name amen apparently the ayatollah khamenei the one before
01:05:04this one as he was dying he was tormented by seeing a cross in in the in the wall i just saw this picture
01:05:11of a cross and i'm not i don't know if this story is true but i read it somewhere that the old boy who
01:05:16brought all this trouble to iran and his deathbed had this vision of a cross and whether it brought
01:05:24him to christ i don't know but i think he was actually tormented by it but but it was just uh kind
01:05:29of interesting but anyway praise the lord jesus is coming and he's come as the redeemer let's sing our
01:05:38final hymn which is i think was it to god be the glory yeah
