00:00Freezing conditions persisted into Monday as a colossal winter storm sweeps across the United States.
00:07Iranian authorities unveiled a new billboard in Tehran, seemingly warning the United States against military intervention.
00:18A ferry with more than 350 people on board sank near an island in the southern Philippines, killing at least 15 people.
00:28A colossal winter storm sweeping across parts of the United States has killed at least 10 people and prompted warnings to stay off the roads, mass flight cancellations and power outages as freezing conditions persisted into Monday.
00:46Officials have cautioned that the polar vortex causing the storm would see temperatures fall dangerously low for days, prolonging disruptions to daily life.
00:56In Tennessee, more than 300,000 residential and commercial buildings were without electricity, while Louisiana, Mississippi and Georgia, where such storms are less common, each had over 100,000 outages.
01:10At least 20 states and the U.S. capital, Washington, have declared states of emergency.
01:15On Sunday, some 12,000 flights were cancelled and 20,000 were delayed.
01:20Up to 60 centimeters of snow were forecast in some of the hardest-hit places, and most of the country hit its coldest average low temperature, minus 12 degrees, since 2014.
01:31A man was fatally shot by a federal immigration enforcement agent in Minneapolis on Saturday, heightening already existing tensions in the city.
01:46The victim has been identified as Alex Preti, a 37-year-old Minneapolis resident and intensive care unit nurse.
01:55After the shooting, hundreds of people took to the streets to protest against the presence of agents in their state, with top Democrats calling for ICE to leave Minnesota.
02:05Right now we are focused on getting ICE out of the state, and of course we will use every lever that we have, but I do remind people that Donald Trump runs the White House, and sadly, because to date we have not seen the Republican members of Congress standing up, he also seems to run the Congress.
02:28Homeland Security said agents fired defensive shots after a man with a handgun approached and resisted attempts to disarm him during an operation, but videos filmed by bystanders showed Preti holding a phone with no clear sign of him wielding a weapon.
02:46Minnesota Governor Tim Walls said he had no confidence in federal officials and the state would lead the investigation into the shooting.
02:54The incident marks the second fatal shooting of a U.S. citizen by immigration enforcement officials in Minneapolis this month.
03:01Iranian authorities unveiled a new billboard in a square in Tehran. The board seems to warn the United States against intervention.
03:14The poster depicts an aircraft carrier with damaged fighter jets on its deck. These are surrounded by bodies and pools of blood.
03:23Meanwhile, red bloodstreams showing resemblance to the American flag trail behind the vessel, while the slogan reads,
03:30If you sow the wind, you will reap the whirlwind. It comes just days after President Donald Trump said that the U.S. is moving warships to the region just in case he wants to take action.
03:42The latest escalation of tension between Tehran and Washington comes amid Iran's ongoing crackdown on nationwide protests.
03:51The demonstrations began at the end of December and the U.S.-based human rights activist news agency reported on Friday that the death toll has risen to over 5,000.
04:01But many believe the toll to be even higher as Iran remains under an internet blackout that has lasted for more than two weeks.
04:10Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to allies for more air defense missiles on Sunday.
04:25Hundreds of buildings in Kyiv remain without heating during freezing temperatures after a series of Russian strikes.
04:32Russia launched over 1,700 attack drones, 1,380 guided bombs and 69 missiles this week alone, said Zelenskyy.
04:43Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said more than 1,600 high-rise apartment buildings were left without heating after a Russian attack that took place early on Saturday.
04:54Sub-zero temperatures have slowed the repair crews, restoring heat and electricity to half a million people.
05:02U.S. brokered talks took place between Russia and Ukraine over the weekend.
05:07Though there did not appear to be a breakthrough, Zelenskyy said the talks were constructive.
05:16Violent clashes broke out on Saturday night in the Albanian capital Tirana between police and protesters demanding the resignation of Prime Minister
05:24Eddie Rama. Opposition leader and former Prime Minister Salih Berisha urged thousands outside the main government building to unite to overthrow the government and push for early fair elections.
05:37Same demonstrators hurled stones and Molotov cocktails while police responded with tear gas and water cannons around government offices and parliament.
05:47At least 10 officers had minor injuries while Berisha said around 25 protesters were arrested.
05:53The unrest comes amid corruption accusations against figures on both sides including suspended Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Baluku and Berisha himself.
06:06A ferry with more than 350 people on board sank early on Monday near an island in the southern Philippines.
06:18Rescuers have saved at least 316 passengers and retrieved 15 bodies, officials said.
06:25The inter-island cargo and passenger ferry with 332 passengers and 27 crew members apparently encountered technical problems and sank after midnight.
06:35Coast Guard and Navy ships along with a surveillance plane, an Air Force Black Hawk helicopter and fleets of fishing boats were carrying out search and rescue operations.
06:45The cause of the ferry sinking was not immediately clear and there will be an investigation, the Coast Guard commander said, adding that the ferry was cleared before it left the port and there was no sign of overloading.

09:03Yeah.
09:15We're kind of trying to open up what
09:17the potential of a love letter can be.
09:19I think we think of a love letter
09:21as something to be posted
09:23and to be sent, but actually
09:25expressions of love can be found in all sorts
09:27of places, and surprising
09:29places.
09:41We have just this kind of human feeling of love.
09:43The real instinct
09:45of priority
09:47and what's more important, and the sacrifice
09:49is actually worth it for
09:51love and for their commitment
09:53to their partners.

10:11We can grasp on both sides, right with the finger.
10:35If the fingers are all potentially thumbs, or thumb an index, then you can have many
10:40pairs.
10:41So that allows you also to grab things with only those two fingers, for instance.
10:44We went one step further by detaching the hand so that we could show that once fingers
10:50can do so many things, they can also become legs.
10:56On the hand, we can only perform a limited number of tasks due to the structure, the
11:07constraints, the limitation of our hands.
11:09So what if we can release those constraints and make the robotic hand to go beyond the
11:16functionality of a human hand even more dexterous?
11:19I think that's the whole idea behind our design and the problem we wanted to address.
11:24We'll see you next time.
