00:00man first and foremost i want to start you in philly obviously that's kind of like you know
00:04where we go throughout the week and we talk about it all the time have you been shocked
00:08that you know the news yet we haven't seen anything when it comes to the offensive coordinator yet and
00:14again now you know you're left with the bottom of the barrel here with philadelphia and do you
00:19think it's the coach the quarterback the environment with all the coordinator changes that they have
00:24had over the last couple years why do you think this process has been so slowed down in philly
00:29i mean i think it's a combination of everything you just spoke about including the analytics
00:34department you know offensive coordinator wants to come into philly and uh call his own plays he
00:39doesn't want to be uh questioned by the coach or sirianni or the analytics department he wants to
00:43do his thing and whether he fails or succeeds it's one to be on he wants to be on his own merits i
00:48think that's been the biggest issue uh but anytime you get an offensive coordinator it's like a box
00:52of chocolates you never know what you're going to get to be honest especially in philadelphia
00:56so uh there's a couple guys out there still you know the guy from indianapolis cooter i kind of
01:01like him a little bit kafka is still available i think and uh other than that i mean the top guys
01:07have already been taken what do you make a hello kitty in the way that he's gone around you know
01:12you know the los angeles chargers and you know this guy's going around being recruited then he takes
01:19his name out of the mix you know i mean he really if you look at the last five years and what they did
01:25down in miami so chris greer the general manager gets fired they they tanked for two if you remember
01:31the five years he had a 35 and 33 record in miami and all of a sudden he becomes like the new hottest
01:39thing i mean you know obviously you know there was talk that he may get that las vegas raiders gig
01:43but yet you know the the chargers say if you don't get a head coaching job the oc job's yours
01:49what do you make of mike mcdaniel as a candidate to be a head coach or maybe the oc for the chargers
01:55i like him better as an oc for the chargers because they do have justin herbert and his style football
02:00is really tailor-made for an elite quarterback like justin herbert even though he hasn't you know
02:04played well in the playoffs over recent years where two where they went all in with two i think that
02:09was a big mistake and we saw what happened uh whether it was the concussions or his uh you know
02:14he regressed as a as a quarterback in this league it's not easy to play quarterback toughest position
02:18in the world you know to play of any sports so uh they went all in with two and it didn't work out
02:24for them but as an oc in in uh la with the chargers i think that that would be the right fit for
02:28you know
