00:01:12of deliberate mediocrity the sin of deliberate mediocrity family let me ask you a hard question

00:01:26become good enough when did we start calling bare minimum holy just because we're tired traumatized
00:01:33or comfortable see i believe put this in your notes one of the greatest enemies to purpose is not
00:01:38failure it's settling one of the greatest enemies to purpose is not failure it's settling not because
00:01:46you don't have the gift not because you don't know the call but because you've made a decision to stay
00:01:50safe instead of being stretched hear me mediocrity is not a condition it's a choice mediocrity is not a
00:02:00condition it's a choice and when you deliberately choose not to maximize what god gave you that's not
00:02:07humility it's not wisdom it's called disobedience whenever you deliberately choose not to maximize
00:02:15what god called you that's called disobedience because god doesn't call us to be comfortable
00:02:20you had to be here last week for this he calls us to be consecrated and to be consecrated mean god
00:02:25pulls you out sets you apart for his specific use and if you were here last week you're gonna catch
00:02:31this and whenever god sees someone using you for other than what he calls you god intervenes you're
00:02:38not gonna like me for the second week in a row but it's cool your relationship didn't fail because of
00:02:42you of them it failed because of him god knew you being with them would cause you to settle for less than
00:02:47what i called you to be if you're in a toxic relationship it's the demon
00:02:52see he said the word but he doesn't understand the word okay so let's go back to the word because
00:03:03he's not called by god to preach to the child of god okay he's not actually interpreting it he's saying
00:03:10these things that's not from the word he put his own facts on there with no scripture the only scripture
00:03:18he started with was this one i know your deeds that you are neither cold nor hot who's talking about
00:03:26the ones taking their eyes off god why because they think they're saved
00:03:32i wish you were either one or the other
00:03:39okay because you could say and do things christian-like or that like you love god but
00:03:48you don't you still sin you still fall for the temptation you still listen to a false teacher
00:03:57not called by god you're not actually having a relationship with the lord but you may still say
00:04:03a prayer but you're blocked because you have a demon with you put us in the false prophet prophecy not
00:04:09only the sins that you do but the sentence you continue to do like watch a false teacher not asking
00:04:16god is this person called by god is this person called by your lord no okay don't listen don't
00:04:21watch them just because you like them everyone else is gathered around them doesn't mean they don't
00:04:26have a demon it's time to level up you may be seated i want to teach today from the topic level up

00:05:41the children of god because god did not call you to do this you don't know how to put you in your
00:05:45backpack i don't care if you write down all the scriptures he didn't call you to teach
00:05:50because you're going to tell half truth and have lies
00:05:52i believe put this in your notes one of the greatest enemies to purpose is not failure it's
00:05:59settling one of the greatest enemies to purpose is is that in the scripture
00:06:05no he's trying to make it like he's teaching you something but it's not in the scripture
00:06:09he has to show you where it is he's not doing that why because he can't interpret the word of god
00:06:15failure it's settling not because you don't have the gift not because you don't know the call
00:06:20but because you've made a decision to stay safe instead of being stretched hear me mediocrity
00:06:26i don't have to stretch or do anything because i'm in my assignment you see what he's talking about
00:06:30that's not the holy spirit that's why you're so confused people out there in the audience whoever's
00:06:34watching gonna be confused gonna write all this essay for nothing's not gonna help you in your real
00:06:39life it's just for show oh one of my greatest one of the greatest enemies to purpose is not failure but
00:06:46i'm settling in my purpose i don't feel like i'm selling you know why my purposes was given to me
00:06:51by my assignment from the lord
00:06:56so i don't know what you're talking about and if you knew your assignment from the lord what he's
00:07:00saying would make any sense because you'd be like what do you mean i'm settling i have my
00:07:02assignment from the lord our god so no i'm not condition it's a choice mediocrity is not a condition
00:07:12it's a choice can you tell me what does that mean and what does it look like show me a picture
00:07:17how could someone be doing something mediocre mediocre if that's all they know how to do and
00:07:24what are you talking about so you see that what i'm doing is mediocre no you can be because god told
00:07:29me to do this so who is he talking to the confused one the lukewarm one who's like yeah i'm mediocre is
00:07:35not a condition okay but how's that pertaining to your life tell me what he means you can't because
00:07:40it sounds stupid mediocrity is not a condition it's a choice i don't choose to be mediocre
00:07:48i'm doing my best i'm getting up i'm going to work i'm taking care of my family how is someone living
00:07:54mediocre lee they're not he's just saying that because he's not caught the call to teach you anything
00:08:00goodbye critique is not a condition it's a choice and when you deliberately choose not to maximize
00:08:07what god gave you that's not humility it's not wisdom it's called disobedience see he's off
00:08:16bye you're done see that's why he's not called doesn't make any sense i don't care how much
00:08:22diction you have in your words uh does it matter it's about love see god doesn't need my intelligence
00:08:31i could just sit here and god just takes over why and it's the truth why because i'm learning too as
00:08:36i sit here with you i'm learning from the holy spirit not perfect god told me it's my assignment
00:08:42and he's going to tell the truth through me through the holy spirit for us to hear
00:08:46that don't make no sense you tell me that someone's going through life not giving their all
00:08:49who are you talking to not not the child of god because we're doing our best because we're already
00:08:56being loved by god so why wouldn't i get my best why wouldn't i i'm being loved on by the lord so why
00:09:03would i make a choice to not do my best doesn't make any sense whenever you deliberately choose not
00:09:09to maximize what god called you that's called disobedience because god doesn't call us to be
00:09:15comfortable you had to be here last week for this he calls us to be consecrated
00:09:27i'm very comfortable with the lord so that's a lie consecrated mean god pulls you out sets you apart
00:09:36for his specific specific specific use that's a joke he's playing preacher passer from some movie
00:09:49pulls you out wait no he pulls you out for his specific use like stop it
00:09:58it looks crazy god didn't have to pull me out i was already sitting here laughing at funny videos and
00:10:11he said now do that video and the holy spirit spoke out see how god just takes over he does things smooth
00:10:21i'm just laughing have fun no funny videos when they do like funny pranks stuff like that
00:10:25like um i was just laughing at them having fun something good and he was just like he pointed
00:10:34it to two videos while i was in bed and i said and he said those two videos you do next and i said
00:10:41okay lord and i was like you know i asked god i was like me like he was like yes
00:10:48and i did it and when i sat here the holy spirit said you're a false prophet sit down shut up
00:10:54this to the word of the lord you're not called pastor mike because you're not a pastor you don't
00:10:59have what you need in your backpack to talk to children of god he loves you he wants you to be
00:11:04what makes you happy this is not what brings you happiness and joy it's like a job for him he's like
00:11:09playing it you know doing all that for what you would never see jesus doing that why because
00:11:16god is love when you sit down your children and talk to them you don't do that they'll be like
00:11:20what's wrong with you what's wrong with you you tossed them from love why why because you want
00:11:30them to get it right he's put on an act or a show or something goodbye you were here last the last one
00:11:37he was doing all these acting and voices goodbye and whenever god sees someone using you for other than
00:11:44what he called you god intervenes you're not gonna like me for the second week in a row but it's cool
00:11:49i mean intervene like saying this like your false prophet or someone telling you hey that doesn't
00:11:54sound like god that's how you may intervene or he may tell you sit down be quiet or he may tell you
00:12:00don't do that because you're not talking to him but he will give you a red flag someone saying you know
00:12:06that doesn't sound like god or that doesn't sound right or someone may say something you may not like
00:12:13it because you have a demon with you like someone's telling you you shouldn't do that sin
00:12:18you don't like you get attitude that's a demon i told them the right thing but they don't listen that's
00:12:24the demon it's not they're you know they have a demon with them so they get irritated about the
00:12:29stuff like that but they have to change they have to repent for their sins once you get delivered god
00:12:34will deliver you from the demons that's on you and you'll be free you it's like you'll be free you'll see
00:12:40oh that doesn't make me happy it's not for the body of christ i'm out of place this makes me happy
00:12:45this brings me joy relationship didn't fail because of you of them it failed because of him
00:12:51god knew you being with them would cause you to settle for less than what i called you to be
00:12:56and only three people gonna say amen when god brings two people together
00:13:00you can just say they're stuck because they're stuck in love
00:13:03love right he loves us he wouldn't bring you together with someone who rejects you
00:13:09god doesn't make anything fail for him to say god made you to fail no that's demons
00:13:16god doesn't mix with evil trying to say that oh because you're in an evil toxic relationship it failed
00:13:20no the demons make it fail there's no love there it's toxic you may feel like stuck in a bad way
00:13:30but when god does something you love being together you're stuck in a good way you're in love
00:13:39you both love the lord so what's he talking about two people in the balcony four people in the chat and
00:13:46one person in overflow you can call me a lot of things call me ugly call me arrogant call me whatever
00:13:51you want but it's one thing you will never call me a settler i am allergic to average i am allergic to
00:13:57mediocrity so what is he doing he's talking about his self his own thoughts how he feels about himself
00:14:03why because he's comparing himself to you why you're not perfect
00:14:14instead of telling me how good god has been to you in your relationship he wants to tell you that
00:14:18he's not a settler like you he doesn't deal with mediocrity like you but you're the one that's taking
00:14:23care of him you're the one giving him tithes and offerings giving his lifestyle now he can get up
00:14:28there and tell you that he's not mediocre but you're the one who's paying his bills isn't that
00:14:32funny sounds like satan to me you don't have to have nothing to be around me but you at least got to
00:14:38want something and i came to preach to three people early this morning who can declare all this week
00:14:42something my spirit been telling me it's so much more in store for no i'm great i'm doing great thank you
00:14:49god's taking care of me
00:14:54i have more than enough already
00:14:58i don't have to go get seconds because god fills me up on the first plate
00:15:02so we're talking about the holy spirit with me makes me what content the demon makes you greedy i want
00:15:07more more more more no i need a bigger house i need four or five cars i need 50 acres
00:15:15i need more than one person
00:15:22goodbye sounds like satan to me stop trying to compete with the children of god me that's why
00:15:29my job is irritating me that's why my house starting to feel small that's why my face
00:15:34see the holy spirit's ahead of him is exceeding my bank account because something in me is saying
00:15:39there has to be more and what does that sound like someone who doesn't have the holy spirit
00:15:45god takes away that feeling of void something's missing no it's not not the holy spirit i feel great
00:15:50wonderful
00:15:54skipping running happy that's how i feel and the devil can take that because when he asked me a question i
00:16:04say or if you say the name of jesus i do it all day long when i have a thought that's not good evil
00:16:13illegal perversion any kind of things you think this questions from demons you say
00:16:18if you say the name of jesus and you run to the lord or if you say the name of jesus
00:16:25do it in your mind if you're around people because
00:16:28saying can still ask your question to take your eyes off god and you say how big you say the name
00:16:34of jesus and you keep doing it forever until you take your last breath and you run to the lord
00:16:42he does not expect perfection can you put this in notes but he does expect progress
00:16:48michael he does not expect perfection but he does expect show me in the word

00:17:00progress i said this every year it's certain things i'm going to say every year i do my best to inculcate
00:17:05you god gives you a choice to believe in him or not

00:17:13progress where i'm already saved so show me in the word where it says that god expects progress
00:17:18show me but he won't because he's not going to be able to interpret it with as much knowledge as
00:17:22possible okay there is right this is not on the screen no neutrality in christianity

00:17:55every year while wearing a seatbelt which means it's possible to be safe and still miss it and so
00:18:03the spirit of neutrality say that better michael i don't have to worry about a seatbelt i'll wear it
00:18:11but that's not what's going to save my life
00:18:12you can die in your own house so what are you talking about god saves my life
00:18:22he is protecting me from myself so what are you talking about you can make a mistake and do
00:18:28something like touch an outlet
00:18:32or anything so what are you talking about god protects me the spirit of neutrality prioritizes comfort
00:18:40over calling so you put your seatbelt on boom okay you put your key in the ignition okay all
00:18:45right now do me a favor the first thing you become once you get going is what part
00:18:50if you want to go forward you put it in what if you want to go back you put it in do me a favor
00:18:55what's the use of neutral will neutral make you go forward or will neutral make you go backwards it
00:19:02depends on the surface you own and if your circle and your environment is a surface if everybody around
00:19:08you're going backwards exactly nothing's happening goodbye goodbye
00:19:17i don't care what's going on if jesus is asleep on the boat i can go to sleep too
00:19:25why because god controls everything around me whatever's going on i can walk straight through
00:19:31it if god told me to walk straight through it nothing's gonna touch me what are you talking about
00:19:35in neutral you're gonna do what they do but if you hanging with people who going forward
00:19:42and what i'm trying to get you to realize is too many people
00:19:48i have to watch y'all because y'all are making me preach too many people who call themselves christian
00:19:53are in neutral and god is saying i do not need perfection but i do desire progress and when you
00:20:00know better but you know better and you choose to stay small that is not just a missed opportunity
00:20:08it's called a sin
00:20:11why is it important that he and show that he shows the word
00:20:15why is that important now he did show a part then it disappeared he's not really showing on the back
00:20:21but he can interpret it because he's trying to make his own metaphors about it you don't have to do
00:20:25that with the holy spirit the holy spirit is going to tell you the truth not his metaphors

00:20:41it's not just called a missed opportunity it's called a sin if i'm in mcdonald's drive-through and
00:20:47holy spirit convicts me to pray with the lady in the window and i say to myself i don't know this lady
00:20:51i'm not gonna do that and i keep going i didn't miss an opportunity i was disobedient to the spirit
00:20:58by default that makes that a sex ain't the only thing that's gonna send you to hell y'all don't
00:21:03like me today y'all don't like me today no this past week at bible study we crept up on something
00:21:07that shifted the whole atmosphere we had no idea we was gonna creep into it it was something called
00:21:11the spirit of anticipation and anticipation is a faith posture where you're not just believing god
00:21:16will do it it's behaving michael like it already has it's not just believing that god will do it
00:21:22it's behaving like he already has and when we tiptoe into the corridors of today's text we find
00:21:28ourselves situated and acculturated in revelation and it is in revelation chapter 3 verses 15-16
00:21:32that the text tells us i know your deeds they are neither cold nor hot i wish you were either one
00:21:39or the other so because you are lukewarm neither hot nor cold i am about to spit you out of my mouth
00:21:43this message is spoken by jesus himself to the church i need you to catch this now it's critical
00:21:50why a wealthy self-sufficient city look at what they had they had money they had status they had
00:21:55resources i'm gonna say it again they have money they had status they had resources i'm gonna say
00:21:59it again they drove nice they ate nice they live nice i'm gonna say it again they live over the
00:22:03mountain they vacation where they want to they drove what they want to drive but they didn't have
00:22:07spiritual fire i'm gonna say this only three y'all gonna mess with me when i say this what's
00:22:11finished ruin many of our lives is cosmetic christianity it's this idea that you can be
00:22:16all regular as you want to be but when you step outside the house you put your faith on notice
00:22:20i didn't say your face i said you're fake on no it is cosmetic christianity no you're not blessed
00:22:26because of what you drive you're not blessed because of where you live hear me money status
00:22:30resources influence it's not the barometer for your faith it is something called spiritual fire
00:22:36please put the cno spiritual fire is the evidence of a divine encounter michael spiritual fire is

00:22:51the holy spirit is going to speak the truth okay him saying that you have to put on evidence
00:22:55of divine encounter you can't fake that what can you put it on either you got it or you don't either
00:23:00you saved or you're not see he won't make it plain because why he's trying to make it seem like
00:23:04it's you know more deep than that but it's very simple you have to accept jesus as your lord and
00:23:09your savior you have to believe in your heart confess with your mouth that jesus is lord and
00:23:14you will be saved you don't have to pretend and have to put on a spiritual fire that's not there and
00:23:19be phony and fake oh i have to put on my spiritual fire probably the house goodbye you can't fake that
00:23:26it has to be something that's who that's in you which is given to you by the holy spirit god gives you that
00:23:32fine encounter in the scripture fire is often a symbol of you want to take good notes today here

00:24:54here grass is nice yeah they'd be out there picking it with pliers picking it with tweezers
00:24:57everybody stand in the yard they got yard men everybody grass got them waves you know the
00:25:01waves them lines and i'm like oh man it's different out here don't nobody i'm gonna take you way back
00:25:05burn leaves but my hood ain't said throw your hands up right there see the neighborhood i grew up in
00:25:10at any given moment you would see somebody outside raking leaves and then 20 minutes later you would
00:25:14just see everybody standing there looking at them because whatever fire touches
00:25:17it consumes but when we see god michael show up at fire in the burning bush watch this he's fire
00:25:25inside of a bush but the bush is not consumed i'm gonna say it again the bush should be burning up
00:25:33because whatever what is he gonna take this to we don't know because first he was saying something
00:25:39about i'm forgetting because he has a demon with him fire touches it consumes pmj why doesn't the bush
00:25:48consume it's because the bush wasn't trying to be anything other than a bush the bush knew as long
00:25:54if i'd be a bush and let god do what he's doing i'm gonna be okay that's why you have to stop being jealous

00:26:18but god made the bush so and god made me he can dwell in both of us at the same time so what are you

00:26:31you see them carrying what they carry could possibly consume you i just need you to reach over that
00:26:38neighbor and high five another neighbor and tell them don't covet what i'm carrying my oil may be too
00:26:42heavy for you my favor may be too draining to you don't be jealous don't be jealous
00:26:48this is what he's teaching the children of god don't covet but i thought you're talking about
00:26:53how the bush god is inside god didn't burn up the bush but i have to walk out my house
00:26:59with the fire be quiet it's all over the place my anointing may have you depressed because i was called
00:27:07why would a blessing from god my assignment have you depressed it's not your desire it's not your
00:27:13assignment your assignment fits you like a glove so what is he saying he's saying that you go oh
00:27:19people are coveting what you your desire no they don't they don't want what you want
00:27:24give me two people who want the same exact thing no they don't it may look the same on the outside when
00:27:29look at them but god knows their desire within what's their happily ever after only god knows that
00:27:35thing and when you watch the false prophet you're blocked everything he says all over is scattered
00:27:38all over places not the holy spirit god is in order everything he's saying just went from left to
00:27:42right don't be jealous walk out the house with fire god didn't consume the bush where else is this
00:27:48going it's trash this sermon because he has a demon with him he's not called by god the holy spirit
00:27:53will let him say things like this and i give you clarity because god is clarity you will know
00:27:58exactly what what we're talking about what he's talking about and this is crazy fire exodus 3 put

00:28:52full of people or just talking to one person god is not playing it wouldn't matter why why because one
00:29:02is just as important as a million we're god's children it doesn't matter how many people
00:29:08gather around you which means you're working too hard you're working fake you fake worker you're not
00:29:12even supposed to be here you're not supposed to even you hired yourself you walked on the grounds
00:29:16put on this you know backpack that does not belong to you you got the wrong one on buddy okay as you
00:29:23can see you're struggling that's why you feel like you're working when god gives you a backpack and your
00:29:28assignment it fits you it's your talents it's your desire everything's wrapped up in one they all work
00:29:34together it brings you joy and happiness so there what you're saying is that he just confessed that this is
00:29:39not for him number two fire is god's power uh number three fire is god's purity but i like the fourth
00:29:49thing because jeremiah said it's like so he's just playing with god that's why god's telling you all
00:29:56as a false teacher false prophet you can't play with god turning on different personas this is the third
00:30:02person to turn on different personas and well that he has a demon with him he's not saved that's why he
00:30:08he can do that he doesn't out afraid that he's offending the lord you should be humble you should
00:30:15be obedient and this is not your assignment and as you can see this is why he's trying to entertain
00:30:19you not teach you because he doesn't love you shut up stop so so look at this it's god's presence

00:37:43things that you guys start to work out in a relationship you guys start to be flexible to
00:37:49each other you get to know the person same thing with god you get to know him and then
00:37:53he delivers you from something you're in a relationship your relationship you're in a relationship
00:37:59he delivers you for something else
00:38:04and i have to keep running to god
