00:01As India-EU inched closer towards the mother-of-all-deals U.S. Ambassador to India, Sergio Gore has posed with AH-64E India-bound Apache
00:13and has hard-sealed Trump and Modi's joint mission for U.S.-India Defense Partnership.
00:21Sergio Gore has said that these cutting-edge American helicopters bolster India's capabilities, training and technology cooperation and strengthen security across the region.
00:33Joining us for more on this is India Today's Shivani Sharma. Shivani, what is the significance of this photograph?
00:40It's very important, Anjali, because Ambassador Sergio Gore, he's now posted this picture along with the Apaches.
00:50And remember, Apache is the helicopter, the attached helicopter, in fact, which India has bought from the United States.
00:59And this happens to be one of the important capabilities, training and technology cooperation steps that has happened.
01:06And that's what the Ambassador has also mentioned, that he's saying that this is a powerful symbol of how India, we are delivering on the America and India joint vision of a strong India-U.S. defense partnership.
01:22And India not only takes the Apaches from the U.S., there are multiple other platforms and weapon systems that India has been buying from the United States.
01:30And we are still working to strengthen the military ties specifically with the U.S., Anjali.
01:35And this picture means a lot because this is a step between both the countries that we are still working along with the tariff tensions.
01:46We are not letting that tension impact our military partnership.
01:50And that is going strong.
01:51And this Apache helicopter is one of the important aspects that India has bought for the Indian Army as well as we have it for the Indian Air Force too.
01:59Right, Shivani. Thank you very much for all those details.
