00:00And the U.S. is another party that's taking place in these trilateral talks.
00:04But what role is the United States really playing here?
00:07Is Washington acting purely as a mediator, or does it have its own strategic interests?
00:13For example, analysts suggesting this U.S. push for access to a minerals deal with Ukraine.
00:20Yeah, that was something that was discussed very early on when, near the end of the Biden administration,
00:25and then right away, even before Donald Trump assumed office for the start of his second term,
00:30there was a lot of discussion.
00:31You know, Donald Trump is, as we all know, very transactional.
00:34So he's thinking, if I'm going to get involved and help you out, then what is it that I'm going to get?
00:39And he, right away, latched on to this idea of the minerals.
00:43That's definitely something that's been discussed an awful lot.
00:46I also think that if this U.S. proposal, which includes this economic free zone,
00:52if that were to happen, I think that there would definitely be some benefits there.
00:56But President Zelensky alluded to this when he spoke at Davos the other day.
01:02He talked about how you can't necessarily expect America to do anything other than what America believes.
01:12And this is now part of the Don Roe Doctrine, right, which is America first.
01:17Now, that doesn't necessarily mean that domestic issues are the top priority in America.
01:23What it means is that we will do whatever we think is best for America.
01:28So if that means going into Venezuela and capturing the president and bringing him back, that's what we will do.
01:33If we think we need to take over Greenland, we'll certainly talk about that.
01:37That's what we'll do.
01:38And so I think there are going to be America first agenda items, and they will definitely want some sort of monetary compensation,
01:49maybe once the president leaves office or maybe somehow now.
01:54But I think everybody can understand, certainly after a year and a few days of Donald Trump's second term,
02:01that Donald Trump wants to make sure that he is being compensated publicly for the work that he does as he tries to solve eight, now maybe nine wars.
